If its not the wicking, its an air leak. Make sure those white gaskets for the glass tube are both in place. Definitely make sure the little o ring for the top of the chimney is there (where it fits into the top cap). Make sure all the parts are tight but not overtightened.
Agreed, only time mine as ever leaked was when I was in a hurry to get to work the other day and forgot to put the fill screw back in after a quick top off.
However it could also be that you are closing up your airflow too much and flooding the deck chamber with every draw.
Guys the Lemo really likes airflow which makes it stand out from the rest of the tanks on the market.
Throw conventional kayfun thinking with higher resistance, lower wattage, and tighter draw to keep it from burning out the window.
Sub ohm that fine piece of engineering and open her up and let her breath.
Conventional kayfun builds at 1.4-1.7 ohm builds at 20w or below were the sweet spot for the kayfun because the small chamber would get too hot due to lack of air flow and literally cook your juice, or vaporize the juice faster than it could wick.
The Lemo was purposely built for lower resistance, higher wattage and addressed the short comings of the kayfuns with damn near an infinite amount of air flow.
Example:
Right in front of me is a kayfun light v2 with a 1.4ohm micro coil wicked with Japanese cotton filled with NT Wakonda AFC screw completely removed.
1.4ohms @ 19w = 5.2v I get a fairly warm muted flavor vape @ 20watts after a few hits I start getting a burnt taste with no increase of vapor production.
Now I screw in the Lemo with a 0.8 ohm single parallel micro coil same juice and Japanese cotton AFC set to about 3/4 open
0.8ohm @ 30w = 5.3v I get a nice warm dense flavorful satisfying vape, this is where the Lemo really shines.
In testing I've found that a coil build between 0.5 & 0.8 ohms,
( I prefer 28g single parallel micro coil) wattage between 25 & 40 is the sweet spot, provided you open up the air to it
It will not flood and leak, it will not burn, will not be a hot vape, and you
will be blowing dense flavorful clouds, and I'm willing to bet you'll discover subtle flavor undertones of your liquids you never knew were there.
