Hi, let me preface this question with an explanation beforehand, that there are two of us here vaping. With one person, its easy to organize it all but with two, you have to keep track of whats what, which belongs to #1 person and what belongs to #2 person.
We each have several tanks and keep to our own. We tend to separate our gear.

I am on my iMac 24-7 and if not on that, I have a smart phone synched to both my iMac and a Macbook pro and I have a synched note pad file that tells me which tank has what flavour in it-generaly by which mod its on.
Thats easy for me to do because i rarely change the mods.
But as we are drawn both, to the heavily dark covered sweet ones, we also go through coils a bit faster than average.
( I just went sub ohm and am learning to make coils tomorrow)
but because at one point we had one really dark juice burn out authentic coils in less than 2 days, I began to write down the dates of new coils for the tanks so at any point i could look back and know when it had last been changed. At the risk of sounding really neurotic, I began doing that ONLY, because I was finishing up a few boxes of Aspire coils I had purchased at my local B + M store that I was sure were fakes. I wanted to make sure they were before ending my patronage there. I also had boxes I had purchased from FT and wanted to be 100% positive they were authentic, which they proved to be and this was the only way with two of us here I could keep control of which ones were which in order to watch them closely.

The problem is with my husband.
He keeps absconding with my new mods.
If I like one and buy two at once, I have to hear him rant and rave about who much money i am spending.
After that 30 minute rant, he will then finally stop long enough to Vape off of the new one and suddenly I lose my new gear as he becomes too attached to it and then suggests that maybe, this "one time' he was wrong and sends me out to buy a second mod, just like the first.

Yes, we have been together 30 years, I know him well :)

But in the course of this, somehow he has ended up with about 7 mods and tanks on top while i am down to 2.
I ordered a great Vamo 9 clone off of FT, heard the "rant" so ordered that one secretly without telling him....LOL
Didn't want to have to listen to him rant about it on and off for 3 weeks until it was delivered.
I made the mistake of telling him 2 days before it arrived and after looking at the photo of it, he suddenly began to talk about "his" new mod.
/sighs...I knew i should have ordered two

So I ordered another one on March 3rd but typical of FT,, its still not yet packed and sent out so I await it impatiently for a few weeks.

In the course of all of this, since he's great at absconding with mine, and he now has 7...lol.....the problem he, he cant keep track of which flavours are which and at least once a day one is thrust under me so as i can guess for him which flavour he's got.

So after all of that, I am c curious to hear what other couples, or roommates do. Or for that matter, single Vapers that have a large collection.
I just read a post in the "Over 50 Vapers swinging on a porch" or some such title, and there was a quoted post from 2012 on the first page that reminded me that i needed to figure out a way to organize all of these.
The woman had been Vaping for one year and had already amassed 30 tanks with all different flavours in them. No mention was given as to how she managed to remember which one was which.

So bearing in mind that I am willing to type lists or keep things organized that way, but the hubby isn't, how do some of you do it that aren't as fanatical about it as I am?
You cant tell me that you can just look at them for most of ours, once steeped, etc, look the same anyway.
(BTW, this organization extends to Steeping Dates/Purchase dates of each Juice)

I suspect that some might just roll their eyes and suggest I am thinking too much about it and they may be right but i am dealing with the extra problem that one of us is very organized and the other one, not at all. It adds some complications to the mix :vapor:

Thank you in Advance. I apologize for the length. Years of being a Legal Assistant makes for an extremely fast typist. This took me less than 2 minutes I suspect to type. Many typing two sentences would take longer than I to type all of this out-lest anyone wish to comment upon its length and time typing :p

I get it..I type 150wpm so I'm a bit "wordy" at times too.

the "absconding thing" I do it to Ed, my daughter and her boyfriend do it to me..it's a circle of life *lol*

Ed'll come home after they've visited and ask "what's it cost me now?" lol

I tried a lot of different ones at vape stores, folks are always willing when you whip off your trip tip and ask nicely. It's about finding what's a satisfying vape for you.

I love the Kanger aerotanks v2 & mega. I started with a Russian (rebuildable) and finally got my new Kayfun V4 up and going yesterday and LOVE LOVE LOVE it...they fixed all the pesky issues I had with the old style (filling mainly)

get a caddy or something or you're going to go nuts (I have a touch of OCD myself *lol*) ok more than a "touch" :p

I have NO patience for Fasttech aka SlowTech anymore..after three orders averaging 7 weeks each and the wrong item on two of them.
Ebay or focalecig, sweet-vapes, are our primary go to's

Good luck!!

I buy the multi packs of colored drip tips cheap at FT. I buy little colored labels, the spot type, at wally world. I put a sticker on the juice bottle and a more or less matching colored drip tip on the atty. Now if I could just find a way to remember when I changed coils/wicks........

I'm like mattiem. I use a Brother label maker for my tanks and which flavors are in them. I use the smallest size type, use an abbreviation for the flavor, then trim with scissors so it's really tiny. It's very tidy and professional looking. I use the same label maker for my DIY juice. Sounds like you'd need to put labels on your mods, too, and just as soon as they come in!

I don't know...me and my woman, we pretty much share all our atty's and tanks! Tanks are a bit harder, we only have 1 right now, but just ordered a 2nd. Luckily, for the most part, with both enjoy the same flavors, so swapping between our atty's and tank isn't too big an issue, if an issue at all! She likes to try the new one's I buy but really doesn't prefer one to any other. She likes the juice more than anything! So as Long as I'm making that good, then we're good!! LoL Sounds like you may need to invest in a label maker and start marking what's what!

Well, if ya really wanna discourage your guy from walking off with your supplies you could try this...it also works to help remember what is in each tank, since they all look different. You'll likely want to start at the end of this and work back if you haven't been following...it's a little long...

Wow.. My girlfriend, we've been together a decade or so on and off.. So we know each other pretty well. And we both vape, but if I stole her mod, she'd smack me! We have everything separate. I use mainly rebuildables now and she doesn't. Sometimes I'll buy her stuff or let he try some juice and fill a tank of something I ordered that she likes, but we are both really organized and separate.. She uses colors and remembers what fluid is in what color. I use different tanks entirely. For the 2 taifuns I have, I know the serial numbers and which is in what. But it's a difference of skittles and cappuccino, so it's pretty easy to tell on the first drag.

My neighbor has all of the same tanks and doesn't know what he's smoking half the time...I told him to get different drip tips or colored replacement glass.

I use different colored tanks for my evods and emows. I also have a spreadsheet telling me what tank has what juice and when the coil was changed. Page 2 of that is juices with the name, brand, ratios, bottle size, and if I'd buy it again. The labeler is a good idea, though. I'd start taking mods back from hubby. lol. But that's just me.

Here I thought I was the only one using a spreadsheet to keep track. The surprising part is our spreadsheets sound almost identical.

The problem I have found with keeping track of when I put a new coil in is that I have no idea of how much use that tank/coil has gotten. With 8 to 10 tanks in use, one or two don't have much use even though the coils have been on them for a month.

Color drip tips or Wally dots sound good, but with my memory I would still need a spreadsheet to tell me what each color stood for. But I am definitely going to be checking out labelers!

I use my sig 50 and istick50 my wife uses two ego battery's between us we have eighteen tanks so what we did was clear out a cupboard in the kitchen bottom shelf is mine and upper shelf is hers. I know all my liquids as im the one that mixes them but she gets easily mixed up so now as others do she puts the liquid bottle behind the tank for that liquid. We have little UN's visit now and then so the cupboard is perfect as its high on the wall we don't need to worry about wandering little hands :).
