I'm starting to find that annoying things like rent & utility bills keep interfering with my vape shopping lol. My 'allowance' of weekly spending money for the next month is already earmarked for more supplies, including a new APV. I'm sure i'm just going through a phase of heavy shopping that will taper off soon.....yep, any day now.
But seriously, like a few people have already mentioned in this thread, you can't put a price on your health. I used to feel like kicking myself every week when i bought my supply of smokes. Now, even on weeks when i spend twice as much buying vape stuff, i don't get that embarrassed feeling of not being in control.

I don't even keep track of the costs... or don't really care to compare to my tobacco costs...

If anything ive spent substantially more on vape gear, parts, and juice than I have on tobacco products every month... vaping is a fun and what appears to be a safer alternate to my past which included smoking and dipping tobaccos.

I just enjoy it, and its been a bit of a hobby to me as well... Cant stop buying mods, or tinkering and making my own stuff.. Being a bit of an electronics geek allows me to tie two hobbies together in the process.

By my rough and ready working out:

I`m about £300 up since I started vaping :)
Been smoke free for 3 months and a number of days and worked out I`ve spent about £350 on everything vape related so far, including the little things like Kanthal, silica, stainless, flavours, Nic base, PG, VG, syringes, bottles as well as the main "events" such as Vamo`s, Egos, Evods, Aga-t2, RSST, carto`s .

The reason being not the fact I`ve bought cheap (or wisely) but the bloody stupid price of cigarettes and tobacco here in the UK!! and having been a heavy smoker (40+ rollies a day and sometimes more!)
The savings will increase in future as I`ve got a couple of decent set-ups now and love the experimentation of mixing my own juices.

But the bottom line is..... even if it was costing me as much to vape as it did to smoke I would still pay that price for the improvement in my health and the way I feel :) :)

Most money spent by me has been on experimental junk gear before I found PBusardo's recommendations for hardware on his "taste your juice" website. If I had been smart I would have spent $50 on a Vamo kit (batteries and charger) from FastTech, then maybe $120 on some boge cartomizers, glass tanks, and e-liquid (surevapes, valleyviewvapes, & mtbakervapor respectively). I do like my kGo1100mAh for being out and about because it's smaller, but I sure wish I hadn't spent money on Blu disposables and an eGo knockoff from the B&M tobacco store (along with their crummy china juice and clearomizers).

Like the OP, I keep a running record of my true expenses in my sig. It DID take awhile to break even, but after I found 'my' hardware, eliquid and nic level, the savings began. In less than two years, I've now saved enough to buy whatever mod I want AND take a 2 week vacation to the beach (4 weeks if I don't eat :?:).

If I had known how much I was going to save from the beginning, I would have invested in better gear from the beginning. :)

These are iPhone/Pad only. Google Play has some for us poor Android users. The Vape app not only tracks your expenses but also has an E-Juice calculator, place to keep you recipes & tracks various achievements.

VAPE ON !!!! :vapor:

I'm downloading that right now actually. I've only been analog ciggy free for about 4 days now, but think the achievements and expense tracking in this app may keep me from going crazy on the vape-porn aka FastTech. "Don't NEED it, don't buy it" Yeah...I just keep telling myself that...
