I ordered 4 from Orbotronics yesterday..... Panny 2900PD button tops. I have been ordering from RTD ...the AW's .... but thought I would give these a try.

Everything from FT is junk as far as batteries with the exception of the Panasonics.... but the New law over there wont let stuff get through. (actually not a new law about batteries.....heard was an older one thagt they just decided to start enforcing)

Im curious about the ego's as well....since they are really just a battery with an on/off switch.
Where does orbtronic ship from?

the vamo is quite real. amazon is just charging too much, it was only 45 when it came out last year.

orbtronics ships from florida, 1 day wait for me.. just down the street from here :D

If I buy 2 batteries and a 2 battery charger is it ok to leave the spare on the charger? Should I switch back and forth daily, or wait until one is dead and then swap them out?

when batteries are done charging remove them from the charger.
you can charge them whenever you want but the vamo and most other mods will tell you when the battery needs to be charged.

Thunderball, Have you bought any mods from FT? I see they have the Vamo knock off for about half price of the real one on Amazon, and I am sure most other mods fall along the same pricing lines. I like anyone want to save a buck, but now not so sure what I want or where to buy it. I have bought EVODs and coils from FT without issue...

The Vamo and SVD and MVP's are all the real deal from Fasttech. Not knock offs. Ive bought several Mods from there before I was swayed to the dark side (Provari). All of my Inokken products are still being used daily by other family members. We prefer the SVD and MVP;s out of all the China Mods.

My iTaste MVP isn't even here yet and I am looking to order more... SMH I guess I should try it out befor buying a Tube type mod, as it is my understanding (probably wrong) that they will do a similar job. I also have to admit that I could buy FOUR iTastes for the price of one provari. BUT it sure would be fun to be in the Cool crowd!

i think all item of fasttech is bad.. no recommended
FastTech is not a bad vendor to buy from as long as you are a wise and knowledgable shopper. They sell a lot of different things, and don't claim to specialize in e-cig products. They sell both genuine name brands as well as generic knockoffs. From what I've read, FastTech has been honest in stating if the product is a genuine brand name or a generic. Product descriptions are often lacking, so the prudent shopper needs to know what they are looking for and how to recognize if what FastTech is selling is what they really need.

In a way, I'm kind of glad that FastTech is no longer selling batteries overseas. I've seen too many novices not knowing what they were doing and buy un-protected ICR batteries from FastTech, not realizing that what they purchased were non-protected ICR batteries that should never be used in a mod.

They also have been guilty of throwing in free un-protected batteries in mod kits that they sell.

In comparison, a vendor like RTD Vapor does not sell un-protected ICR batteries. All their batteries are safe to be used in a mod.

A tip on the "wise shopping:" Order products with customer reviews. That way you can get an idea of what you're getting into.

At FastTech, not necessarily helpful from what I have seen. Most of the commentary are confused customers who are just as clueless about their products, especially with the batteries. Many don't know the difference between an IMR or a protected/unprotected ICR battery. I found it ironic that the non-protected ICR's on the site had received 5-star ratings from mod users.

Learn for yourself the different battery chemistries and which are best suited for your personal applications.

I wouldn't know about that. I never look at the batteries. Heh. I was meaning more along the lines of mods and atties. In those cases, you can gauge whether or not you want to bother buying it if it has a few reviews. I just wouldn't go anywhere near a FT battery.

I love fasttech for cheap gadgets and got a couple nice knives there too.

the problem is they sold batteries before they sold ecigs and without thinking they just tried to carry one over to the other. personally I have 6 batteries from them but with the latest restrictions it may be a problem getting them now, the post office is even asking me if im shipping Li ion when i send stuff i sold in the classies now.

I kinda agree with Bad, it's up to the user of a mod to know exactly what they need. dont leave it up to people who dont specialize in vape gear.

FT is massive and I often wonder if any of them actually use any of their vape gear.

Thrasher, I too have been asked at the post office and asked if I was shipping Li ion batteries, so my question is will I be able to buy from RTD and gave them shipped to me, or will I have to buy locally?
Shipping within the United States isn't a problem like it is internationally, and China in pariticular. You can usually receive an order from RTD within 3 - 4 business days. This is the preferred dealer to purchase batteries and chargers from. Orbtronic and Lighthound are also reliable battery vendors.

One more question guys, sorry to bother you again.

So I went on a real spending spree this week buying everything from mods to the stuff to make my own juice... I am trying to order the batteries for my newly ordered Nemesis clone and SVD. I am going to go with the batteries and charger from RTD suggested on page one, but have a question. I understand that the 3.7v battery is perfect for the Nemesis which will fire at 3.7ish, but how will one of these batteries work in the SVD that can (in theory I guess) fire at 5v? How the heck does a 3.7v do such a thing? Am I missing something again? I plan on ordering 2 batteries (one for each) and will charge them daily I think... Thanks again!
