I do loosen it some and see bubbles and then it is fine for a few hits. I was wondering though if i should do a coil on a larger drill bit. I do them now on a 1/16th. Seems I am having the same problem with my Taifun now. I did the first build and it was spot on. Vaped the crap out of it, but also noticed a litte soap flavor. I had pre washed the taifun when i got it but think i did not rinse off all the soap. So I went and changed the wick out and then the dry hits started. Thinking I had the wick too tight in there I changed it again. Dry hits again. So I figured rebuild the coil. That was fine for a bit then the dry hits came again. Changed the wick again and fine then dry hits. I am using Organic yarn since I think that is just easier for me to work with. I took out one of the four stands and still dry hits. Do you think if I make the coil a litte bigger that the cotton may not do that? I am thinking of giving that a try tonight. Any thoughts?

I have the screw out in the air hole so I know that should not be my issue. I will try the blowing air thing and see what happens there.

That could be your problem. You want to adjust your airflow depending on the juice. If it's a thick juice, you need to tighten the screw, thin juice, loosen. Have you primed your wick and done a few pulls without firing your mod?

This. Of the five KFs I have had, this has been the issue every single time. Thicker juices need tightening of the screw.

Simple logic behind this:

If there's not enough resistance, juice won't be pulled into the atomizing chamber, and thus the setup will not wick well enough.
