I've had a 2.3 oHm microcoil build on my KFL+ for a couple weeks (.28 or .30 gauge wrapped around a 1/16th" drill bit, cotton wicking), and suddenly it's started leaking insanely. It was fine (more or less) until a couple days ago, but whenever I add e-liquid at this point, it basically leaks through the airhole, until the tank is dry. ...?

I've read a bunch of threads on leaking KFL+'s, and I'm convinced that the coil is an appropriate height off the deck, and that the wick is covering the e-liquid channels, without blocking them. I' using the same top fill technique that I was using when this KFL+ was not leaking.

Can anyone suggest a possible fix? I'm really starting to not like this damn thing.

I'm betting your coil is gunked and at the higher resistance having trouble fully atomizing the liquid. So each time you take a hit, it atomizes what it can, but it isn't atomizing enough to balance liquid ingress vs vapor and you wind up with a surplus of liquid.

Either that, or your wick is too close to the AF under the coil.

Do you mean air bubbles rising before turn the KFL+ right side up after filling, or while I'm vaping? Yes, I do cover the airfole while refilling (then uncover it once I've started screwing the cap back on).

I think the chimney and chimney cap is screwed down tightly (I check every time I refill), and there does seem to be a proper vacuum -- if I cover the airhole and take a dry vape, no air is drawn into the KFL+.

O-ring where chimney meets top cap (as stated above), is out of place, deformed, or broken. Or else your chimney is being loosened when you remove the top cap. Do you see lots and lots of bubbles rising up the sides when you re-fill? Do you cover the air hole when you re-fill?
