KFL plastic tank piece

First off let me just say howdy! I've been silently stalking the forums for about a month, and I am very grateful for all the helpful information I've found here from all of you.

I just did my first build on an authentic KFL, but noticed when I was filling up the tank that it was leaking out of the top. After replacing the o-ring at the top where the chimney connects (I've heard that can be a problem). I tried again, and it was still leaking badly! Closer inspection revealed that the plastic tank piece was not sealing/threading well one one side, which was causing a gap at the top chimney. I ended up switching out to the stainless steel part, but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I guess I'll just contact the vendor, and have them send me a replacement piece? Totally digging it otherwise, but it sucks not being able to see what level my juice is at.

Thanks!

Yeah it's pretty easy to mis-thread the plastic tanks, leading to just what you described. With the stainless rings, if it's misthreaded it just stops at some point, stainless steel really doesn't "give" -- but plastic will, so if it's misthreaded and you force it, it will screw up the threads and cause a leak.

You might also give the o-rings on the plastic tank a really close inspection, maybe a problem there.

Are there o-rings on the plastic piece?
I have three and 1 did not come with the o-rings on the plastic "window" the other two did. But, any missing o-ring can cause leakage; kind of like olestra.

This might be a good idea since I love me some citrus. :D

I got some Pineapple yesterday, and that is an amazing vape. The smell is like someone just cut a fresh ripe pineapple. So I gotta get a quartz kit myself. As far as I can tell so far, it appears that Kidney Punchers has the best price, $19.95.

Yeah that's the rainbow heaven version there's another one out there that is almost 60 dollars. They both work with all the clones and not sure what the difference is other than rainbow heavens is a clone of the more expensive one.
From what I've read it makes filling the v2 a little more cumbersome if you bottom fill, other than that or works great with all of the variations/versions of the kfl.
