Received my fasttech TGT and discovered a leak where the air stem oring meets the chimney gap. I verified this by filling the tank only above the wick but below the top chimney cap and there were no leaks. Ordered an OEM replacement set of O-rings and hope that fixes it. I have only heard of leaking due to improper wicking and the slider piece.

Anything experience something similar?

They definitely do require a level of tinkering (some call it surgery) but are very simple devices. I suppose that's what makes it a hobby for some. I look forward to the day they have something that performs like the Taifun but with the ease of use of an iPhone. iVape?

Another trick I've heard of is wraping cotton around the gasket slot to add girth and then adding the o-ring on top.

Have you played around with the height of atomizer outer wall?

Fully pressed in, the air tubes will not make a seal....

???

(just a thought)..

Just to confirm, do you mean the slider shield? I have it pulled all the way up. I have heard of sliding it up 1 mm less than before it clicks to yield better results.

Btw I just got my new oem o-rings and I still have leaking problems. :( Everything feels like a better seal with those gaskets but it still leaks/floods nonetheless.
