KFL+ stuck on my caravela..

Hey, were about to test run my KFL+ build but I probably left the airhole screw a bit to much unscrewed so the KFL got kind of screwed down in an angle and it is literally impossible to get it off the caravela now as the top part of my caravela comes with it if I try to unscrew, either that or another part of the kfl comes right of and juice starts leaking.

How do I get this thing off!?

Brute force is all I can think of. Warp the KF in a cloth and grip it with some pliers.

Have you tried the cooling down in the freezer trick? Seems to work for some. Good luck!

Use cold on the inside part, to shrink it, and hot on the outside to expand it. If it does not work right away try running it through a couple cycles.

put down the pliers. please. real caravela or not.


what you need is a couple of jar openers, these are rubber pads that are used for...opening jars.


use one to grip the top part

use one to grip the bottom


then TWIST!

Oh man I hate it when that happens! You may have to blast.... put about half a gram of C4 around it rolled into a thin rope and rig up a battery with some lamp cord, put it behind the couch and touch it off. That usually does it.

This is good. Since it's back to school, you could take it down to the local College, find a fraternity that's pledging and have them play a game of "Who's .... cheeks are strongest"

Solved It by using som e kind of clamping spring and pliers. A whole lot of raw strenght was required!

This, elastic/rubber bands will work too as they are nice and grippy.

After reading the kind of this type of post I've started leaving the air adjustment screw off my KFL+s when using them on mechanicals. Hopefully your cap didn't get too badly scored!
