At one of the places to order these it says "For best battery life, after you receive you new KGO, please charge the batteries for 8 hours (continue charging even after the battery light turns green). After this time, vape using the battery for 20 minutes and then return it to the charger for another hour. This conditions the battery for optimal performance" I am just wondering why, and why they don't all say that. Thank you

The Volt batteries won't say that because most of them come fully charged. The Volt X2 comes appoximately 3/4 charged. Now, the X2 supposedly is the same as a Kgo, just with 808 threading, but you're going through a lot more than is necessary if that is true. The battery in the Volts are such that this beginning instruction you've posted is unnecessary, beyond charging them full in the case of the X2. Also, they have a charging cutoff, and leaving them attached to a charger beyond the cutoff serves no real purpose and no one has recommended doing so - they supposedly cannot be overcharged, and "priming" isn't required. Maybe I've missed something with my batteries, but my Volts have all worked just fine and without all stuff you've just gone through.

Hi koldham
Welcome to ECF
Bullette the Kgo fan here.
Check out batteryuniversity.com
What you'll learn is that the Chinese instructions translated into English for the Kgo are WRONG
These instructions are for the old nicad batteries. Kgo we learn is a LiPo battery.(130700 not a LI ion) It comes with sufficient charge to start vaping out of the box. So vape with one & Put the other one on the charger & when it's green it's good.
You will also learn that our Kgo batts like to be charged often & not drained down all the way prior to putting them on the charger. I charge one battery per day as my batteries last me 1 - 1 1/2 days.
You're gonna love your Kgo

The battery I plugged in is flashing just a flash of green, is that normal? I am going to have to keep bugging you because I know nothing. Tried to use the second bat. but I think it may be dead, the blue light flashed and then it did nothing? ahhh
When it's almost charged up it will alternate between green and red (on the charger). When the charger's solid green it's fully charged.
