I am going to buy a KGO starter kit from DarkCityVapor. Here is what is included (see below). What else should I buy with my initial order? Right now I only have the blu premium 100 kit and spare cartos; it was a good "step in the door" to vaping but..... Sooo frustrated with the short batt life!

Our KGO starter by SLB comes with 2 complete E-Cigarette and includes:
2x 1100mAh Batteries - Choose Color
5x Empty Cartomizers...Also have options to add other cartomizers at reduced price !
2x Matching Cones
1x USB Charger
1X Drip Tip
1x USB Wall Adapter

All suggestion will be appreciated.

That is an excellent starter kit!

You probably should add a few more cartomizers. For the KGO, the best performance is obtained with LR cartomizers (~2.0 Ohm). Of course, it's a matter of preference, and you might end up liking the cooler vapor from either a higher resistance (~3.0 Ohm) carto or from a dual-coil cartomizer. I'd just go for 15 Boge LR cartos right now, but that's just me...

Juice! Do you have any? These cartos are empty, and the story goes that the most complicated adventure when beginning vaping is finding the right juice. Make sure you have at least 30 ml around, when you drop below that order more. Delivery can take unexpectedly long.

And consider at least one LR 510 atomizer for testing juices. Dripping is a bit of a hassle, and takes a little getting used to, but it is the way to go in order to test juices without wasting cartos. Later, you may find it's the best way to get the most out of a flavor as well.

You probably will find extra drip tips handy.

There are several ways to fill cartomizers, and preferences vary. If you don't have one laying around, get a hold of a 2-3 ml syringe with a larger bore needle (~18 Ga) - it makes my life much easier with filling cartos. But you must take care to stay safe when using it - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...7-how-use-syringe-safely-vaping-purposes.html

Great choice Saw Tooth. Bill at DCV is good vendor to deal with. Realize some Kgo colored PV come with strange colored buttons- white PV comes with orange lit button- black with soft blue lit button. Here's his ECF thread:

Many friends us the Kgo and the 1.7 XL SmokTech cartomizers- large juice capacity. "IF" you plan on buying a tank later you'll need the stainless cartos regardless of what brand you buy. I would also get a steel drip tip as the plastic ones fit very loosely on the cartos. I would get at least 10 cartos maybe evne 15. Make absolute sure your first fill is done properly.
510 Silver Drip Tip
I would also get an atomizer or 2. This way you can test juices and if they're horrible have not wasted a carto.
Let me also find you a discount code.

You are so going to love it!

My only suggestion is to ditto getting more cartos, or drip tips - I bought a kit and some cartos, then got carried away buying about 20 juices from several vendors only to discover I didn't have enough "dedicated" cartos nor any drip tips to try them all in their virgin state, as it were. So: get more than you think you'll need. You will use them eventually!

I also got some 1.7 XL SmokTech cartomizers which are fabulous for juices you know you really, really like. Have yet to try syringe-filling...doing the condom method for the initial fill, then dripping in juice to top off has been working just fine for me so far.

I'm writing all this down on my "to buy" list, LOL.

Vapor Eyes...are you DarkCityVapors? And, yessss I'd love a discount coupon. May buy after midnight tonight, LOL, that's payday.

Does this list sound about right?
KGo kit
LR 2.0 ohm cartomizers
(x number ? ) 1.7 XL SmokeTech stainless carto
(15 )Boge LR
(x number?) of silver drip tips
30 ml Juice

Will my used blu cartos work if needed?

I just need to know what to buy all at once so I am not sitting around here going "oh heck, now I need such n' such and will have to wait till a new order arrives".

What colors does kGO come in? I'm a girl and we like "pretty" ya know. :p

re you DarkCityVapors?
No I just like to recommend him I've had great dealings with him as I also recommend other vendors that sell quality products for a fair price. He doesn't have many colors to choose from but
KGO kit1100mAh by SLB has 9 different colors. Problem with Hoosier he puts his logo on the PV which I don't like. Go to Hoosier site ands hover mouse over pics and you can see the colors.
KGO Mega Dual Coil Kit 1100mah has them in black, pink and chrome but they're $12.00 more.

I have two red ones, a blue one and a green one. The blue and green I got from Hoosier and honestly, you can barely see that logo. I just wanted the pretty colors!! But I second the Dark City Kit.. the attys that come with most KGOs are crap and DC's kit with the cartos is a better deal. You can always buy just the colored batteries from Hoosier,, that's what I did. Got my kit from Virgin Vapors because she had the red ones,, then bought a green and a blue battery and cones from Hoosier. Really, I don't notice that logo unless I really look for it. I get the best performance out of the 1.7ohm single coil cartos.. 2.0ohm works pretty well too but I don't like anything dual coil... but that's just me. Now all you need is juice and you're good to go... and there's a gazillion places to get that!! That's a whole 'nother shopping expedition! You'll love that KGO!

Hoosier is an excellent ECF listed vendor with many happy customers. I was ordering from DCV but needed a very large order so went direct to the source in China. If you are making any future purchases scroll down to the bottom of the ECF Home Page and there you will see ECF vendor list. Also some more smaller, but reputable vendors here:
E Cigarette Suppliers Forum
There have been ECF vendors that have lost their space here on ECF due to unacceptable business practices and if any vendors "get out of line" ECF members will call them out.
Good Luck.

I may switch from buying from Dark City Vapors to Hoosier because Hoosier has many more color choices.

Is Hoosier a good company to buy from????

Someone should tell DCV that they are losing business from the ladies, because ladies want pretty colors!:2cool:

I've bought from Hoosiers twice... very good customer service, nice fast shipping. Just know that you're going to get the crappy atty's with it. That doesn't really matter though, because no matter where you buy from you're going to have to get some cartos. All the cartos you need will be at Hoosier too. You can call Brent,, I hear he's very helpful. Ohhhh, the red is SO pretty!!! And the green one and blue one are pretty awesome too!

these batteries are a bit big, but that doesn't bother me since they last so darn long between charges. They're about the size of a sharpie marker.. not horribly big, IMO... I carry mine around in my pocket at work all the time.

Yes, Hoosier is a GREAT vendor. Hoosier has both the Smoktech single coil 1.7 ohm LR XL and the Smoktech single coil 2.0 ohm LR XL in stock. That's where I get them. It's worth trying both as there is nearly a 2 watt difference between the two at 3.7V. You may prefer one over the other depending on juice selection and your own sense of taste.
