I received a SLB eGo-V today. It's the same exact battery as the re-branded Hoosier kGo VV. It's been working very well. I haven't been pushing it with DCC's but it cranks with the Mini Vivi Nova and every other carto that I've tried. The button it probably is its worst feature. I don't have much of a problem with finding it as I do with pressing it! I know I'm being knit picky but you do have to exert considerable force in comparison to a regular eGo button. The button on my iTouch seems luxurious in comparison as well. All in all, having a eGo VV with a display is something I've been waiting for for a very long time.

Just got this in an email:

Newsletter

To everyone who has purchased a KGO V.V. prior to 09/28/2012. Please read carefully.

If you have a KGO V.V. that the button has fallen off of or become torn, please let us know via our contact us page that you need a replacement. Once we receive your message we will send you a new stronger replacement button. We have a video on the KGO V.V. product page demonstrating how to replace the button. We will only send one button so please be careful while installing it.

If you don't feel comfortable replacing the button yourself then you are welcome to mail your KGO V.V. to us and we will do it for you. You will need to pay to ship it to us for repair, but we will pay the shipping to return your repaired KGO V.V. to you. Also if you choose to send your KGO V.V. to us for button replacement please be sure to package it well. We will not be responsible for an item received damaged, or an item that was lost in the mail and never received. Also please include, either on or in the package, your original order number from your KGO V.V. purchase. This way we will know who to send it back to once we have received it.

Also, we will be including a spare button with each new KGO V.V. sold.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Sincerely,
The Hoosier E-Cig team

I've had an eGo-V for a little over a week now. When it first arrived, the cover over the usb port on the base of the battery wasn't even attached. Glued it on no problem :)

A couple days ago, I noticed something strange though. If the usb cord is angled a certain way in the port, the voltage will cycle upwards indefinitely. If its straight in it's no problem, but trying to use it while it's charging, it's almost impossible to prevent it from getting wiggled. I have to resort to locking the voltage while charging - not the end of the world, but there are definitely some quality issues with these batteries.

I got mine a few days ago, also from Hoosier. They now have a hard plastic button, wich is really quite nice, I have no complaints other than that I wish the battery capacity was a little larger. It fires a 1.5 ohm dual coil at 5+ volts, but burned my juice and the carto. I am currently vaping a 3 ohm topcoil in a tank on it, and it is working astoundingly well. The entire voltage range is accessible at 3ohms and possibly less. I gotta say I'm impressed with this batt, especially for the price. It also takes a hair under two hours to fully charge via usb.

Btw. Some people have reported issues with the cable, it's not a normal size, but easy enough to find. It takes a mini uce6 aka 8 pin mini flat USB, haven't had the need to order one yet but glad to know rePlacements are out there

I still have and use my E-Power from Hoosier, but mainly have been using my Kgos. Tonight I just ordered the Kgo VV and I can't wait to get it. I've never experienced VV vaping but for less than $$25 I can finally try it. Figure I'll just see how much I really like VV and later order a second one, so that I'm never without.

Have to say, despite all the torture I've put the E Power and the Kgos through over the years, they are still going strong. I am aa very loyal customer to Hoosier. Just stocking up on 50 ml bottles of e-liquid for $10.99 makes me feel safer, like I won't run out........almost like I'm becoming a "prepper" but I think they have other things in mind!

Just got my Kgo VV a few days ago and I'm pretty pleased with it so far. It's my first VV device and I ordered some Boge 3.0s to run on it (as opposed to the 2.0s I usually run on my regular Kgos). It's been putting out a silly amount of vapor and it's nice to be able to play around with the voltage setting as I vape. It's a surprisingly light battery and the build quality seems to be pretty good for the most part. The metal end cap broke off after a three-foot fall onto a tile floor (DOH!), so they seem to be a bit more fragile than the standard Kgo. But it seems to be working fine nontheless and the hard plastic button appears to be a nice improvement over the original. Wish I had bought a matching stainless steel cone, but I can always pick one up when I inevitably order a back-up :)
