Have just finished vaping my Kgo VV for about 5 hrs at 4.5 volts. Nice vape and voltage is accurate but my two main gripes are it's not a true pass through and the recessed button requires adjusting to. Wishing they had the old Kgo or eGo button on the VV. Used a friend's Twist and like the Kgo setup much better. Will be figuring out a way to make the button more accessible/ easier to find. My score 8/ 10...

The button does look a little strange, but i occasionally have problems on my regular kgos with the button sticking or developing a little bit of green muck (rather like the kind you get on the nose rests of your glasses) around it. Nothing a cotton ball and some rubbing alcohol won't fix but still.

I guess if it really bugs you alot you can probably pop it out of the depression, slide it off and replace with a regular kgo button which you can get for a dollar. Buttons for ego, KGO, riva

It probably won't be a big deal for me, i'll just learn to orient it by the screen instead of the fire button in my dainty little hand.

I'm so excited. *bounces around* I hope it shows up tomorrow. er, well, later today, i mean.

Oh ok, TY! :) I put myself on the wait list. Gotta have one! Kgo was my first battery when I started vaping, and loved it. I went to the twists because I wanted to try VV. Love the twists too! But I dislike the way you have to turn the dial at the bottle, and the cruddy almost non visable voltage markings. This seems like it would be the best of both worlds! Cant wait :)
I put little nail polish dots in different colors on half the voltage marks on the Twist, and little marking pen marks on the ones in between. It helps a LOT. But my roommate is getting the new kGo vv and if I like hers my next ecig will be the kGo vv....except right now all my batteries are so healthy I couldn't justify it.

Could someone put a tape measure on it and post the tip to tip length?
I have a 650 twist that I use with a mini vivi nova with a shorty tip on it.
This combination just fits into the glass case (tube type) that I've been using everyday.
I'm curious if I'll need to find a new case for this one.
Thanks!

I'm SUPPOSED to have the kGo VV right now. In fact...I do have one. It's sitting in it's box on the table over there. I ordered the first day it came out...but alas, as luck would have it...I got the DOA one. Brent sent a replacement out for me (as of last Friday) but it's still not here, and the tracking ends in Indianapolis on 9/5/2012. So I have no idea where it is. I sincerely hope it gets here tomorrow. For someone who was supposedly one of the first to order, I'm having a really long wait!!!!!

The Twist does it too, you just have to take that into consideration when you hit it. I let off a bit before I normally would and continue the drag until the light goes off.

Well yeah I've been doing this do far. Never used the twist before but all my other eGos are instant cutoff.

Doesn't really matter but I'm just used to the way all my other mods work.

All of this info on the new Kgo VV is great, but I haven't seen anyone mention charge time.

How long does it take for these to charge completely, assuming an adequate supply of electrons from whatever the usb charge cord is plugged into?

I actually think it charges quickly. I've only used the USB on my computer and it's about 2 hours maybe shorter

My kGo VV did arrive today! And I'm vaping away on it right now! So far so excellent! The button is going to take a bit of getting used to, but I don't think it's going to be a problem. It's just a bit harder to feel than most of the manual buttons I'm used to. The unit has a great feel to it. The LED is plenty easy to read (funny note: When I first got it I thought the digits were 0.00 ...so I kept getting something like 4.0U, 4.5U, 3.7U etc. I thought the second "0" was faulty..missing it's top. Duh...it's a digital version of "V"...lol!!) Love the battery charge indicator. The volt lock function works. My juice is tasting wonderful in a 3ohm EMSCC at 4.4volts. And I'm liking the 1.5 ohm EMDCC so far too (still looking for my voltage though) I'm pretty impressed so far!
