Lol

Congrats! I'm sure you'll love it to pieces!

With the 1.5 ohm DCs...I don't WANT higher voltage. With a low ohm ...going to higher voltage makes my juice taste more like molten asphalt than anything I really feel like vaping. Plus I don't like it when the carto/tank/battery gets hot. I've not been much of a fan of dual coils for several months because of the getting hot issue. I could use them some on ONLY the eGos as their voltage was low enough most of the time. But they still got pretty warm. But now...I can use my EMDCCs 1.5ohms and be SURE that the voltage is not higher than 3.6. Actually, I'm quite liking the one I'm using now at 3.2! Not hot at all! Just lovely menthol flavor! As for the single coil Megas...the 3ohm seems to do quite well at 4.2 or 4.4. It's highly unlikely I'll vape any higher voltage than that unless I find a single coil mega in a 4ohm or something.

Like the original KGO, it feels solid without being too heavy. The voltage adjustment buttons are rubbery like the original KGO button. They LOOK a little cheap but don't FEEL cheap. The little interface is simple and cuts off automatically, though i wish it would give me a little blink or something when I lock and unlock the voltage.

Pictures here with my new vivi nova (which is everything a star dust wishes it was, so far) and a tank skirt i had thrown in for aesthetic appeal

Size comparision to a regular kgo 1100mah. It's about an inch longer, which doesn't bother me personally. It appears to be every so slightly fatter but it might just be the rubberized finish.

So far I'm not understanding what the big deal about VV is, but it might just be the juice I'm using in the nova atm. I'll experiment more with cartos later, but that'll be limited since they're all LR.

Thanks Orobas for the update and pics, awesome.
Yeah, it was those buttons that had me wondering, so thanks for the info.
When vv vaping, I adjust the volts until I either notice some flavors/notes getting stronger or weaker.
I like fruit flavors, so I will start off lower on volts than I normally run and slowly work my way up until the fruit flavor gets weak/burns off.
Then I can adjust the voltage down so I know that I'm in my optimal flavor range with that particular juice on whatever device it's in.

I finally got my Kgo VV today. I'm upgrading from an eGo-T 1000 mAh battery with a 510 low res atomizer, cone, and drip tip.

I had a clearomizer all ready and waiting for it, and when I twisted it on, it... it didn't work! It sucked! At any and every setting. (I've had bad experiences with all my clearomizers; they don't draw well, there's no throat hit or lung filling, or even much vapor.)

So I screwed my lr atomizer onto the Kgo, and it works just fine... at around 3.9, 4.0, 4.5 volts. Anything above that, the juice burns up within like three or four draws. I can't take advantage of the 6 volt setting because I don't have an atty or carto that is designed for this. My cousin, who has a Lavatube and a Provari, uses 510 low resistance Boge cartomizers (510 Stainless Steel BOGE Blank Cartomizers). He suggested I try these instead of my atomizer (I have a back up, but it's standard and not low resistance, so I'm worried with this Kgo it'll burn out my atty real quick.)

I have my Kgo VV locked at 4.50, anything higher than that seems to drain the battery, get hot, and burn the juice.

I'm not saying the Kgo VV is bad, or not doing what I want it to do, but I just hope I can find the right cartomizer to use with this, because the clearomizer simply won't work at any setting, and my atty won't last forever.

Any suggestions?

Edit, I tried the clearomizer one more time and it's hitting pretty good but it tastes burnt. Gaah!

I got that vivi nova with mine. Tomorrow i get my juice and carto allowance so i'll be getting something higher resistance so i can play with it properly.

I popped on a carto after using the vivi nova exclusively for a few days and i can't believe how much harder the draw is. but maybe this particular one is old.

I'm confused. Is it harder to draw (sucking on it for a long time with no results), or the draw itself is hard (i.e., throat hit)? I've heard good and bad things about the vivi nova (it leaks, spills juice, etc.) But I'm very unhappy with my attys and clearomizer when using the Kgo VV. Again, I'm not saying the battery is bad, but the other gadgets I own are not suited for it.

Edit: the whole "fire button" thing.

This is a minor thing, an aesthetic thing. I can find the button even when it's in my pocket. It's not hard to rotate it a bit to find the button. And if you can find the + and - buttons, then you know the fire button is right above them. I actually like the flushed design. At least it won't bump into my cell phone and fire, like my eGo-T did. Even flushed, it still makes a clicking sound.

Do people really get this upset over a button? I don't like it or dislike it. I just accept it for what it is.

What does "this upset" mean? I don't think anyone has been freaking out about the button. Or do you mean kinda upset? Because I think most people here have mentioned they like the older style button, but surely haven't written off the device because of it.

Myself I am neutral on the issue, I don't hate it or like it, I would have just preferred the classic style. I will say it does look nice and tidy though.

P Busardo's rant on the fire button. In his review on Youtube he pretty much rapes the fire button with a screwdriver. I don't see why a flushed button is such an issue with him, but I respect his reviews. Also, it seems like a lot of people reviewing this battery in this thread touched on this topic.

I like my Kgo VV. I have to keep it at 4.5 v because I'm using a 510 lr atty with a drip tip, I don't want to burn the atty or the juice. And it is working perfectly.

Hopefully soon we'll have a 1000 or a 1500 mAh battery with VV. But until then, I'm happy with my purchase. But I'm definitely getting some cartomizers. This atty is working perfectly but I don't want to be there when it craps out on me!! ;-) (Well, I mean, I will be there, but I want back-up just in case!)
