Kgo VV Question

I should be receiving my Kgo VV tomorrow (fingers crossed!), and I already have a clearomizer waiting for it. I'm not going to use my 1.8 ohm atomizer and drip tip with it.

I'm wondering, do you think this clearomizer will work with the Kgo VV? It looks like every other clearomizer out there, with the clear plastic that tapers at the tip, with a 1.6 ml tank, and 4 wicks on either side.

yes as far as where to set it depends on the ohm of the clearo.... im not sure as i dont have one but i believe the kgo vv is similar to the ego twist with a few set selectable voltages. if so all the settings will be fine. if its more like a APV where you can fine tune to a .1 for the voltage i would suggest staying under 5v's as it can get hot and some clearos have issues with the plastic melting when they get too hot.

Just got my KGO VV today, I LOVE IT.
Yes its pretty similar to the twist (got one of them too) I'm dripping right now with a 2 ohm atty but have a vivi on its way with the 3 different ohm heads.
Was vaping a 3.2 boge cart earlier turned all the way up to 6v and it was nice, tobacco type juices for me at least seem to be better at higher voltages.

This whole "ohms" thing is super confusing to me. Knowing that I'll have a Kgo VV, can someone point me to a cartomizer/clearomizer that is appropriate for this battery? Explain it to me like I'm a five year old. I will NOT be offended.

I know all about Ohm's Law and resistance and everything. I'm not asking for an explanation of general science, I just want someone to clue me into what best to use with the Kgo VV.

First off is THE CHART
This just shows you the ohms you can safely vape at with a known voltage.
I only started looking into ohms the last week becuase I'm a heavy vaporer (was a heavy smoker 2 1/2 PPD) and was burning up my carts from the get go vaping at to high voltage with low ohm carts. Pretty much if you want to use a higher voltage while vaping you need a higher resistance cartomizer. Think of it as a low rez cart is like a really thin wire and a high rez cart is like a heavy gauge wire. You will burn up the thinner gauge wire quicker with higher voltage. I vape heavy enough that I've started using higher rez carts so I dont burn the atomizer in the cart right away and then get a weird taste till I throw the cart out.

It depends on how you want to vape.
I'd say get a few different carts in different resistances and see what you like.
Like get a few 1.5 a few 2.0 and a few 2.5 and play around with the voltages till it tastes "good" to you.

With such a large range of voltages (isn't the KGO 3 to 6 volt?), you could use pretty much any carto that you want I'd think. Just start out low, and slowly raise the voltage until you find a spot that works for you. Personally, I like fairly strong hits. I use the 1.7 ohm (single coil, smoktech) cartos with my twist set to around 4v.. I imagine I'll pretty much be doing the same with my KGO VV when I get it.
You could start with something like a 2.0 or 2.5 ohm carto, and with your KGO at 3v. Then turn the volts up slowly to find what works for you.

rocket you pick your carto/clear based on your preference of temperature of vapor, flavor and th.

since the kgo is able to go from 3.0 to 6.0v's you can use any ohm between 1.5 and 3.0.

now 3.0ohms at 6v's will be the hottest you will get thats about 12watts(temp) most vapers like around 9-12 watts. wish i had a chart link for here but i dont. but i know the formula to figure out how hot a vape will be. its voltage*voltage/ohm( i use 2.0 ohms at 5 volts) 5v*5v=25/2=12.5(so my wattage is 12.5 which is in the hotter end of a spectrum for most vapers)

hope that helps shed a little light on what your looking for... in my experience most standard cartos and clearos are roughly 2.6-2.8ohm and i find they dont vape well past 5.5volts which is just about 12 watts.

best way to determine your sweet spot would be to start at 3.0v's and take a few puffs then go up .1 until you find the voltage that taste and feels best too you. thats where you want to vape at, and then knowing the ohm of the carto/clearo will allow you to be able to buy new ones at the same ohm rating so you always know where to set it too.

That's what's nice about any vv device is you can use any atty,tank,clearo you want! Just play with the settings until you find what you like. I would get a few clearos with different ohm heads and play around with them until you find what works. I have some 1.8 ohm and 2.4 ohm clearos and some 3.0 ohm dirp attys that i use with my twists and provari.
