Kick2 worth it

I admit I like the nemesis form factor, I've bought a half dozen to piece together 4 good one but its worth it. Now I use the generic ebay kicks. I also have a provari and motice how much quicker and smoother the coil lights up. Does the kick 2 do that? At its cost I may be better of buying a provari or two. Its ashame that the dna & SX chips can't do low voltage.
