I've got an odyseus (that I love) and have been thinking about trying to get my hands on a ggts. I'm interested in what it looks like/ how it preforms with a kick. Especially, how short can I configure it with a kick for portability. What parts might I need? How long is it in kicked 18350/18500 mode? Any pics and/ or explanations would be greatly appreciated. I'm not that firmilar with the ggts and I know that some of these questions could have "loaded" answers due to the nature of the ggts. Any and all responces welcome. Thanks.

With a Kick and 18350 battery, it's only about 15mm longer than a Stealth, so the total length of the GGTS in this mode is probably around 70-75mm? That's as short as you can get it with a Kick. I'd take a pic, but my camera's battery is dead and I've been too lazy to charge it  In that setup, you don't need a top tube, just screw either a stealth cap or the collector tank right onto the telescope (if using the collector tank assembly, it will be a little longer)

EDIT: I'll charge my batt and snap a pic or two later

Here ya go, Knucks. Since it wasn't currently in use (just finished cleaning it) I set it up quick with the different Kick options:

Stealth for size reference (no Kick, obviously)

Here's that last setup with the full-size Ody on it (the way I've been using it lately). Probably not the best setup for out and about, though, more like the gilded billy club pickpocket deterrent mode :vapor:

Wow, that's just going above and beyond. Thanks so much killjoy! Very helpful ecf member here. In fact, a couple of months ago killjoy hooked me up with some rebuildable atty supplies "on the cheap" to help me get started. Remember me? Thanks again friend.

Ps- Anyone using the ggts / ody base? More pics please. They are worth a thousand words ya know.

Yep, I remember ya ;-)

The last one of those pics is actually using the GGTS Ody base (it screws directly into the collector tank in place of the adjustable draw cap). I haven't used the 510 Ody base since that came out, since having flawlessly easy air control on the Ody simply makes it the perfect atomizer

I've bought and sold so many different PVs in the last six months or so, but the GGTS is just above and beyond in terms of quality. That and my Darwin are probably the only two PVs that I can safely say I will never part with. Yes, there's a little bit of a learning curve with every GG piece, but if you can get your hands on one I say go for it :)

Oh ok, didnt know that the ody/ggts base was used in conjunction with the collection cap thing (Sorry for the terminology). Thanks everyone, now I just gotta find a ggts!

Yea, the ODY GG base has the same threads as a 901 Top Cap and screws right into the Collector Tank.

So if i cant get a Top tube, what's the biggest battery i can get in the Stealth with a Kick involved and what parts are needed?

I cant seem to find a Top tube anywhere or anyone willign to move one....and no one is selling or trading a GGTS as far as i can tell...

Without a top tube and adding just a telescope to your Stealth, the biggest you can get in there with a Kick is an 18350. Even removing the battery spring and unscrewing the telescope all the way so there's only one thread holding it all together (definitely not recommended, anyway) you won't have room to put the stealth cap on top

So I just got a kick in the mail and I've been using it with my stealth and telescopic tube with a 18350 battery. The problem I'm having it the kick is saying the battery is low when it's reading out at 3.8. I cleaned all the connections and even took out my bottom spring. I checked the ground spring on the kick and it's making good contact. Anyone have any suggestions? When it works it's great but it's very touchy. Help me please! Also what kind of battery life has everyone been getting with a kick and 18350 battery?

How are you taking the reading (3.8v)?
What 18350 battery are you using?

Get a small tube of Deoxit gold, it's 2ml I think and will last ages. I used to have the same problem but after a drop on all threads and contacts (except on the Ody of course) and it now fires flawlessly and the batteries not only drain properly but last longer as well.
