That much automated makes me paranoid.
Its kind of cool though, at 5:45am the lights in the bedroom come on at 30%, then the lights in the hallway and office come on at 40%, then the Espresso machine starts heating. My alarm clock is set for 6am, most of the time the lights wake me up gently before then, and hot coffee is only a grind and tamp away.

If I set the Occupancy status to "away", and motion is detected in any two adjacent rooms in succession, I get an email.

If I say "Alexa, PANIC" then every light in the house comes on and 110db siren goes off.

If I forget to turn the espresso machine off, my house will do it for me after one hour.

Oh, and I can can control any of it from my phone anywhere. Comes in handy if I want to turn the AC before I get home. I havent done any "geo-fencing" yet, but I am considering it. One thermostat setting if I am more than 30 miles from the house, and another setting if I am close to home.

Nope, no cameras. Nothing is wifi, but I do have a lot of ZWave which does have its own security concerns. I have not seen any Zwave exploits yet that opened up the IP network though, but a malacious entity could conceivably control certain devices. Thats the main reason I never automated the doorlocks.

I haven't tried it lately, we've seen just about everything so we are giving it a rest and using Netflix for a while.
Yeah my gf is mostly the one who uses it, between school and work I don't have much time and also I'm ADD so I get distracted & rewind a lot or I get bored and try to fast forward to just find out what happened at the end, which then causes my gf to tell me to go play a vidya game or something. I literally tried to watch the first episode of the Americans like 14 times bc everyone told me it was good... But I did notice lately the RD sources aren't working.

That too, or doctor who, firefly, etc...

Anything semi-cheesy and sci-fi.. As long as it's not too serious or grounded in reality. lol

The last "normal" TV show I actually managed to watch was Mr. Robot but probably bc it's kind of based on what I do.
