Is this sigelei Kick -- the same as any kick
Evolv is the original mfg. Sidelei, Smoktek etc make clones.
From what I've read (secondhand info alert), the clones from Sigelei and Smoktech use a 33.3Hz PWM chip, while the Evlov Kicks are DC to DC. This might make the vape you get from the Evolv Kick smoother. I bit the bullet and bought a Evolv Kick 2. So far, it's working great.
If the clones are pulse width modulated at 33.3Hz then according to PBusardo that could cause the rattlesnake noise from a tank when inhaling. Thus the Evolv Kick would be a smoother draw
You do know that ProVaris are PWM as well, just a higher rate. 800Hz vs 33.3Hz.It's not just the noises though. I was vaping on a zmax and didn't here a noise at all; but, it tastes horrible burnt on a fresh wick and coil. Couldn't been just the juice as it was a coffee flavor; but turned me off from pwm devices for sure

I am also looking at the Sigelei. How does its performance compare to the Evolve Kick2?
The price is attractive @ FT.
It would be nice to kick my Nemesis/Kayfun to get a consistant vape over the full usable voltage range of my battery.
