has anoyne tried the killer clone untanked on a bottom feeder?
im thinking of rigging one up on my vmod to see if it works.

It should work, because the Terminator does not have a sealed 510 connector. Please report back when you try this. I'm considering buying (or building) a bottom feeder in the future, and I'd be interested to know if this works too.

OK, I've been vaping one of my new Terminators (from the 5-packs from Vaping Craze) in my AMP Tank, with Twas Brillig juice (keeping ll other things the same as with the Terminator from Exhale that came with the tank), and to be honest, I think it vapes exactly the same. I opened it up and put a few drops of juice on the wick and coil before assembling it in the AMP, and it vapes the same, meters the same (2.2ohms) and feeds the same.

I don't see any difference.

Looks like I made the right decision buying 10 of these bad boys from Vaping Craze. I also got 10 of the 510 extenders (at a small additional cost) but I don't use them in the AMP. They will come in handy, however, when my FastTech order comes in though, because I've got 2 additional X8 tanks coming in, and I'm probably going to order some lrger (22 or 25mm) IBTanked tanks later this month, so I'll need those 510 extenders to run them in a regular carto tank.

I am a VERY happy vaper.

Great product, great service from the vendor, FANTASTIC price point, and it performs VERY well in conjuction with other mid-range to high-end products like the eVic and the AMP tank.

Yes, I am a VERY happy vaper tonight...

my Terminators arrived from exhale yesterday and with some time spent adjusting the feeding they work decent. i just wish a had ordered a couple X8 tanks from Fasttech when i placed my order! can't get one working in the AGR tank?

edit: one BIG issue im having now is a can't keep the atty from flooding when putting the top tank cap on... if i just put a tiny, and i mean tiny bit of juice in it's not bad. damn i wish i would have some ordered X8 tanks!!!! anyone have any filling tips for the tank that comes with the terminator?

however, when it *works* it works great. excellent flavor and vapor production.

can't get one working in the AGR tank?

I have mine in an AGR tank and it is working well. One area of trial and error for me was to make sure the adapter to atty connection is loose. I originally had trouble with the adapter unscrewing from the AGR's locking section. One thing I do when putting it together is to first push the adapter into the base without the atty, screw the locking section onto the adapter, and then screw the top cap onto the tank with the TT's atty section in place, making sure the atty never fully screws into the adapter. With this, the only thing that unscrews when I turn the atty is the connection between the adapter and the atty and I can adjust juice flow as needed.

It sounds like you have your terminator set in the tank so that just the threaded part of the 510 connector is sticking out the bottom of the tank (so it sits flush on the top of your mod.)

If you push the Terminator into the tank all the way down, so that the bottom of the bulb is flush with the inside of the bottom cap, the "intake ports" where the 510 extender and the "bulb" come together with be pretty much flush with the bottom of the tank, and you should, theoretically, be able to vape it almost dry.

Of course, your 510 extender will stick out a little farther from the bottom of the tank, so it won't sit flush on the top of your mod, but I think a visual gap of 1/8" between your mod and the bottom of the tank is an acceptable compromise for being able to get every last drop of juice out of your tank, if that is what you are trying to do.

If a gap between your tank and your mod is simply intolerable, then I would suggest getting a hybrid... ;-)

how about nixing the juice control altogether? maybe you can just screw the killer into the locking portion of the tank.?

anyone have any filling tips for the tank that comes with the terminator?

I haven't used the cheap DCT tank that comes with the Terminator, but I fill mine like one would an AMP Tank - remove the drip tip, turn the tank upside down, push it down on a surface so the top of the Terminator is flush with the top cap, gently remove the bottom cap (making sure not to pull the Terminator out of the tank), refill your liquid up to the juice hole, replace the bottom cap, and happy vaping. You can also close the juice hole before refilling if you like (so you can fill it higher or avoid leaking).

try filling by pushing the atty into the tank.

1. filp the tank upside down
2. take the juice control off
3. push atty into tank
4. fill tank by dripping down the wall
5 push atty back thorugh the hole and attach juice connector

Aw man. All kinds. LOTS of helpful people in here have already been helping me. I fear it's up to my own klutzyness at this point. I've got it successfully installed in an AGR tank but I always either get dry hits, or flooding. There's some new things I intend to try today (pointers given above by you and some others) and that might do the trick. :)

What problems are you having?

My Terminator has been working pretty flawlessly, but for some of my other submersibles I occasionally need to take a primer puff or two if the wick is running dry. It depends on the device - if you take too many it may flood. One or two dry pulls periodically when you don't hear a slurp might be enough to get it working right. If it does flood, try closing the juice control and vaping unless the flooding is gone. I don't know if people have already offered these suggestions - I'm just trying to help.

Yeah, it's like the X8 was MADE for the Terminator. I LOVE mine, and I'm getting two more (that should be arriving this week) from FastTech...

Here is a tip--fill ANY tank that has a Terminator in it "upside down". Here's what I mean:

First, make sure your Terminator is screwed together well. Put your Terminator into the TOP cap first. Put the tank tube on the top cap.
Leave the bottom cap off for now. Turn the partially-assembled tank over, so the mouth tube is pointing down. Now, fill the tank, up to about halfway up the side of the "bulb". NOW, fit the BOTTOM cap onto the base of the tank.

Once both caps are seated, turn the tank right side up, and adjust the positioning of the Terminator.

Bu doing it this way, there is nowhere for the juice to go when you compress the air in the tank space by putting the bottom cap. Any excess air will be pushed out of the Terminator through the feed holes on the bottom of the bulb.

The reason it floods is because when you fill it right-side-up, and push the TOP cap on like a normal carto tank, the trapped air compresses, and pushes the juice into the feed ports on the bottom of the Terminator, and floods it...

If you own an AMP tank, a Terminator in an ordinary carto tank operates in a VERY similar way, and the filling process is the same, for the same reasons. Go watch the video on the AMP tank, to see what I'm talking about, when I say, "do it upside-down"...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVXOS3A0tvA

Maybe I need to do a video for this myself, or at least take a bunch of pics, and post an illustrated tutorial on this thread... ;-)

You're helping. Even if you repeat something someone already said, it never hurts me to read it twice.
Sometimes things click, sometimes they don't.
Sometimes I THINK they click, and they don't.
That's my biggest problem. User error. ;)

i did as you suggested and it's working good now. i had it working so, so after watching the gotvapes video but, i thought the juice control after watching that video was done by adjusting the bulb. guess i should pay more attention ;) works much better now after doing what you said!

i now close the juice feed on both the DCT and the AGR tank to eliminate flooding when filling. thx alot for your help guys, appreciate it! now in a few days come the real challenge, rebuilding this thing!!!! damn, i hope there's a video out soon, haha ....

There's a video on page 3 of this thread. It's a killer rba video but the unit works the same as ours. Also there's a video on page 18 showing a neat way to do nr-r-nr builds.

Thanks for those references. I missed those videos. I would have never thought a simple larks-head knot would work in this application, but it appears to be perfectly-suited to these tiny wires. Brilliant--I will definitely try this in the future...

I would not bash someone for their opinion on vape gear if it was a legitimate opinion.

My problem with Todd isn't whether I agree or disagree with his reviews.

My problem with Todd is that he disables comments on his YouTube videos, like his word is some sort of indisputable holy writ handed down from on high.

It's not Todds opinions or even the style of his reviews that I have an issue with.

It's Todds apparent opinion of HIMSELF that ruffles my feathers...

Can you share with me, I haven't got a clue what my opinion of myself is and I'm amazed that you know!

I mean, for someone that seems to dislike me so much yo must watch a lot of my videos to gather such an insight into my mind.

Bit of gentle advice, if it bothers you, don't watch them :D

It's the accent though isn't it, got a wee bit of a man crush haven't you, love you to sweetie xxx
