Thanks for those references. I missed those videos. I would have never thought a simple larks-head knot would work in this application, but it appears to be perfectly-suited to these tiny wires. Brilliant--I will definitely try this in the future...

i agree. the larks head knot is brilliant. i tried it yesterday just for kicks and it works. its a little tough to cinch the knot completely closed, but some hemostats or pliers oughta help.

Can any body tell me what's the white silicon washer for that comes with the terminator?

I keep hearing about these, and I can't for the life of me figure out what people are talking about.

I own 12 Terminators, and none of them came with a "white silicon washer".

They ALL came with a soft white plastic plug--like the one in the end of a carto, and they are rather thick (much thicker than a "washer"). And I am assuming that is exactly what they are for--if you don't want to use drip tip, you stick this thing in the end of the Termintor like a carto plug/cap. Since I use drip tips, I just toss these little bits in my "vaping spare parts" drawer.

But none of them have any parts that look like what most people would call a washer--a thin, round disc with a hole in the middle...

one of those things came with my Exhale terminator. its like a washer, but thicker (not as thick as a carto end cap mouthpiece). the washer type thing is beveled on the inside ring. i dont know if its a mouthpiece, but i highly doubt its of use to us. what *i* think it looks like is the cover that used to be placed on top of the carto filler, under the carto end cap mouthpiece. its been years practically since id seen one, but i think they came in prefilled cartos back when i first started vaping.

but i do like VNV's suggestion on what it could be.

i cant make a photo of it now, but i can when i get home if i can remember to do so.

This looks to me like this little rubber washer. In the CE2 it only bothered me and had no function at all.

Yes, that is the same washer or grommet. But what hell use is it in the term? It fits inside the top part. Anyway, the term vape quite well without it soooo......forget about it.

Hmmm...

I got two of the Terminator TT setups from Exhale, and 10 of the Terminators (without tanks) from Vaping Craze, and NONE of them have this piece.

Interesting...

that IS interesting. i got one from exhale, which did have the washer. it did not have the carto mouthpiece. maybe you overlooked the washer...it wasnt installed or anything, just floating around in the little bag.
my 5-pack from VC does not have any washers. but they do each have the white mouth piece.
the unit itself is identical in all other ways so thats really the only thing of concern.

welp, my order from VC for the 5 adapters i stupidly didnt order with my 5-pack
is FINALLY going to arrive. it was stuck in a USPS black hole for the past week  i thought i was never going to receive it. but then today viola the tracking says out for delivery :)

i have only 1 killer clone up and running currently, and its in the original tank.

i have another in my XL 19mm IBTank but its awaiting the adapter that *should* be in my mailbox right now. im grateful that this atty fits in this tank, but its barely fitting. the juie does not flow freely to the bottom. the walls are so close to the atty bulb that it kinda sticks there in certain spots.

the 19mm standard length IBTank can barely hold enough juice above the bulb to make it worth it.

so my dream of making these IBTanks work for the killer clones is not really going how i had planned, but itll be fine. fine for 2 of my killer clones but i want a better experience for my others.

im getting an AGR. so theres another KC housing solved.

im also planning on installing one untanked on my vmod. boom, another one solved.

for my last one, im thinking the new Smok Pyrex tank. but i read somewhere that these things cant be taken apart. does anyone know if thats true?

feel free to recommend me a tank, im aiming for pyrex or something else non-leaching like SS.
