Just got mine in today and it's pretty good. I had a killer and it wasn't 90 dollars worth of fiddling with, but I haven't fiddled with the clone, works great.

Just looking for a tank for it, an xl tank with a fill hole. Any ideas?

I have had good luck with the AGR tank that DV vapors is selling,AGR Tank - Stainless. Locks the base into place and has a fill hole. Just make sure that if you use anything with a fill hole to close the feed cup tube before filling as generally the liquid will pour out of the bottom as you are filling up the tank. It comes with two different tanks, one for regular size carto's and one is the XL carto version.

I've got a few X8 tanks on order--as soon as they come in, I'll let you know how they work.

X8 Carto Tank 3.0ml with Fill Port and Base Carto Secure Knob [gv-X8CartoTank] - $15.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

For now though, I'm using my Terminators in IBTanked tanks and in my Phiniac Phineer, and they work just fine. Tricky to refill, but they work just fine...

For folks who are interested in rebuilding the coils on these attys, a supply of spare ceramic cups is a MUST.

405 Vaperz (in Oklahoma) has pre-made wicks and coils, already installed in the ceramic cups for $2.99 each:
eBaron Dripper Pro Replacement Heads - 405 Vaperz

Atmistique (in Athens Greece) has the cups for 1 Euro each:
Κεραμικό Diver

And apparently, you can use CE2 ceramics in this atty too, but I haven't been able to find a source for the ceramic cups alone. But you could just buy some cheap CE2s and tear them apart for the cups I guess. VaporBreak has CE2s for $1 each...
Cheapest ce2 Clearomizer - VaporBreak

Big thanks! I will give this a shot when I'm more "with-it."

Question though: wouldn't twisting the barrel of the atomizer just make the whole thing spin? I'm guessing you mean that I should hold the bottom, the very end of the device, the end of the 510 extender that connects to your battery/mod, right? But then....wouldn't that just begin to unscrew the two parts of the atomizer itself? I mean, the bit that holds the ceramic cup and coil to the long barrel? I guess I should just make sure that THAT part is screwed on nice and tight....

yes, hold the 510 extender as you twist the top. or you can do it while its installed on your device. at least on mine you can. maybe i got lucky but my bulb section does not unscrew as easily as my juice control does.

i am really enjoying my KC. im on my third tank now and it is hitting smashingly.
i keep my juice control pretty wide. i had it at 100% open for a while but i was getting a gurgle when i left it unvaped for a period of time. so ive got it abotu 80% open now. no gurgle, big flavor, nice clouds.

im interested to see how this guy performs in my IBTanks. i should have my 5-pack of KCs in today so i'll check it out tonight. also, i plan to use a shorter unsealed 510-510 extender instead of the killer juice control / extender which is longer. should help a tiny bit with the height.

I'm on my second tank, and it's vaping like a champ. I'm using AiV's "Twas Brillig" and although it's not officially documented, I have it on good advise (from AiV themselves) that this is a "high VG juice" (stock mix is somewhere around 30PG/70VG).

My Terminators are from Exhale. They have two holes in the side of the 510 connector on the bottom of the cup, above the threads (like a Vivi Nova). The 510 extension has no holes or slots in the sides or top. Draw is very smooth and a little airy, though not TOO airy.

Mine seems to be working just fine. I'm going to load the second one up in a Phiniac Phineer tank later this afternoon, with a different juice, and run it through it's paces. I'll report on the second one later today or tomorrow. h

I can't wait for the two X8 tanks I ordered from FastTech to arrive. They will probably be here in a week or so, and I'll be giving a full report on how the X8 tanks work with the Terminator as well.

Stay tuned!
hey thx for the reply. that's just what I wanted to hear. looking forward to putting them in my AGR tank, sick of the inconsistency of cartos...

This could be just what i am looking for! !!! A rebuildable well ummm. . . Carto that hits like a dripper. I have around 10 carto tanks i use and also plenty of rba's. I have 25 feet of silica wick and 100 ft of wire on the way. It would be amazing to be able to rebuild my carto tanks with wick and wire as they are my out and about vape device. At home i use RDA and RBAs.

If these things turn out to work good and are easy to rebuild and are reliable, i will get 10 of them to replace all my cartos in my tanks

I got My Killer clones in a few days ago and loving them. They did come in a poly DCT tank. I drilled and tapped a side fill hole in it and place a screw that fits in it. No leaks. Success is sweet. Now I don't have to take the cap off to fill it. I would rather have a glass tank for it. But this keeps me happy till I can order a VallyViewVapes pyrex sidewinder that has a side fill hole. And keep the feed holes open only half way or less solves the vacuum issues. I am one happy vapor!

Day Four of having and using these devices, and I couldn't be happier.

Although I DID get my first "dry hit" on the one in my Phiniac Phineer this afternoon, because I was vaping the bejeezus out of some AiV "Sweet Tease", and because this tank is covered with beautiful wood veneer, and I wasn't paying attention to the juice levels. When I got that nasty hit, I looked through the little sight windows cut in the veneer, and realizes there was less than 1/2ml left in the tank.

I'll take that as a "win" even if the last vape WAS nasty... ;-)

The extension in my last post works. But, the pos pin on it is recessed. I'm not sure if they're all like that but mine is. However it works fine on the provari and CHaravela. Vamo not so much. No luck on the chichi either. The adapter makes it nice to lower the profile a few mm but not worth it unless you already own one. I'm gonna score some "official" adapters for my other four. I think I'm gonna chop the tube instead to lower the profile.

After using the 2 that I got last Friday for the entire weekend, I'm thinking the same thing. I may never put another carto in a tank again. All I need to do now is order more of these little gems. For the cost of ONE "Killer 705", I can get half a dozen Terminator RBAs, and have a week's worth of Carto Tanks in constant rotation...

Well I wonder if the one troy posted is the 2 slots or the 1 hole version.

In any case I am interested... they didn't want to show the insides of the thing when someone was contemplating a co-op for these a few weeks ago and we collectively decided we didn't want to proceed without seeing the build.

Has anybody attempted to use this in a tank with silicon gromits on the end? Since I'm avoiding non-rebuildable delivery devices (like cartomizers) I would want one of these primarily to use in my beloved green froggie tank from high desert vapes. But if it won't fit there's no point... not really worth it for my old, battered plastic j-tanks, and one of my VVV tanks has rubber gromits as well.

all 5 of the ones I got have 1 hole in the bulb rather than the slots, but now i have come to the understanding that only is for the ground wire. The 510 connector on the bulb has the 2 holes like all attys and cartomizers have...

not digging them just yet, but havent had a lot of time to jack with them. the killer video a few posts below clears a lot up and i will work more on getting this up and running tonight
