I just got my clone. I like it so far. It's not nearly as wobbly as I thought it would be. Pretty secure, actually. No leaking. I wanted to try out the pre-installed coil and its pretty dang good. I'm getting fresh clean tasting draws. Great TH too.

It's very possible the one I have was defective and off tolerance a bit, considering it already wouldn't feed the intended way out of the box I wouldn't be surprised to hear the threads or something are a little off resulting in more wobble than other ones. I don't have anything to compare it to, but when the juice control is open enough to feed the top of the stock tank moves about 1/8th of an inch side to side, the only time it really bothered me was when actually vaping on it, having it wobble around just felt bad. But then again, I'm super picky about loose fitting drip tips that wobble a tiny bit, so I'm probably a bit more OCD than your average vaper.

I'm sorry if I threw anyone off with the wobbly talk, it's just a pet peeve of mine and not might be an issue for most people.

no worries Uncle. im glad you brought up your concerns. i currently dont have my juice control open very far as im using a PG heavy juice (80/20). maybe once i toss in one of my 65/35s, i may have to open the control to the point of a wobble, but i tested it out, and the wobble isnt sufficient enough to bother me (luckily). im no fan of wobble but mine is sturdy enough.

i think i got lucky with a decently machined unit. im finding that my bulb does not unscrew when i attempt to adjust jucie control. the juice control has a more free-flowing thread while the bulb take a bit more force to open. im sure this will loosen up over time of me opening and cloing the section for rebuilding, but for now its working great.

im using the stock tank now, but i plan to use citrus jucie with this atomizer eventually and really want to use my IBTanks. if this atty works well in the IBTs, im definitely getting a few more. im really enjoying the vape.

used it last night....a bit disapointed, at first the flavor was good and it hit good

by the end of the night, i was getting dry hits and wasn't really able to tell if it was opened or not, it is wobbly but not that bad, the part i don't like is it's waaaayyy to long, not sure if i ordered the wrong one or i need an xl tank

with that said, the ohms on the stock coil may be too high for a mech and i need to play with it a bit, but if it's hanging out the top a good inch or so i don't think this is the answer for out and about vaping

A dripper inside a tank is interesting. Does anyone have both a Genesis and this Killer clone? How do you compare the two in terms of vape quality? Ease of build does not matter.

Doesn't compare to a genny. I would compare the flavor and vapor to a Protank. That's my opinion anyways.

I purchased the terminator from 2 different vendors and they are not the same. The Madvapes version has 2 slots cut in the threaded portion and the version I received from Exhalevapors has just one hole drilled in the threaded portion. The slotted version wicks well and I have not gotten any dry hits as the wick stays pretty wet. The Exhalevapors version is not as good as far as wicking and flavor and vapor is much dryer unless you drip into the tip occasionally. Now I understand some of the posts concerning the missing holes much better! :(

really, that's disappointing. I was hoping for better flavor than a pro tank. anyone put a stainless steel wick in one yet? can it even be done....

While not quite as good as a genny, I say the flavor is on par with a silica rda. Definitely better than a T3. I don't have a pro tank but I'd imagine it similar to a t3.

I have the exhale version. It's got 2 holes in the threaded part. Wicks fine.

Well I wonder if the one troy posted is the 2 slots or the 1 hole version.

In any case I am interested... they didn't want to show the insides of the thing when someone was contemplating a co-op for these a few weeks ago and we collectively decided we didn't want to proceed without seeing the build.

Has anybody attempted to use this in a tank with silicon gromits on the end? Since I'm avoiding non-rebuildable delivery devices (like cartomizers) I would want one of these primarily to use in my beloved green froggie tank from high desert vapes. But if it won't fit there's no point... not really worth it for my old, battered plastic j-tanks, and one of my VVV tanks has rubber gromits as well.

I think it's the two holer. Check out the replacement adapter for sale for it also on their site. My version is the two hole one and its working well for me. I've only been using it for 1 day but hey.

I have the exhale version. It's got 2 holes in the threaded part. Wicks fine.

Mine is just a single hole with the negative lead coming out of it. I may try slotting the other side or drilling the other side to allow a little more liquid flow in.

Sweet! Thanks Troy. Just got 5 for $17.79 shipped. There's a code on their homepage.

Kemosabe please let me know how many holes are in the packaged version. The pictures show that they don't have the short 510 to 510 connection on the end of them I believe. Good pricing!!

Seems to be a lot of talk about the AGR tanks being used with the Killer Clone, to keep it secure, and not wobbling. But people seem to be put off by the plastic tank.

So what about the X8? It has a locking screw in the bottom cap to secure the carto, a screw in the top cap for refilling, and the tank isn't threaded. So although it is plastic, you might be able to find a glass replacement tank for it. Maybe Bedazzled or IBTanked makes a glss tube that would fit. I've written to Bedazzled to see if they have one that fits.

Does anyone have an X8 they could measure? If we knew the ID of the plastic tank on the X8, we could very easily figure out a source for glass tanks for it...

The one I got from madvapes had two holes drilled into the threaded portion, but they were nearly 100% blocked by the little rubber insulator ring. It appears my assumption about bad quality control was right (on cheap Chinese gear? No way! ;) ) either the little insulator is too long, or the holes were drilled too low. Now some have slots? Come on smoktech, get your act together.
