ive done 3 rebuilds so far on my TTs. on the first one i broke my lead that goes inside the ceramic by trying to fit the pin all the way inside the ceramic- this is not needed. just the first part of the pin needs to be snug, the fatter part of the pin does not need to be inserted and jammed into the ceramic. the pin will be floaty, but once you attach the juice control adapter it snugs everything up because the pin in the adapter is spring-loaded. my second build must have had a short because i got a gnarly metallic taste from it. third build = success. pure tasty vapor. no leaks, no shorts.

i have found that the joining of the nr to r wire needs to be short. you cant have a huge twisted mess and still expect the wires to fit nicely inside that little cup. i did a twist-join but first i did try the larks-head join, which is difficult to do IMO. its not easy getting that join right where you want it, nor is it easy getting the larks-head started in the first place- especially with wires rather than what knots are typically tied with: string/rope. but i will practice more because avoiding the jumbled twist-join would be a big plus.

The replacements are so cheap that you should just bin them when they're done - we're talking 50 Cents more than a carto, I used to try to boil cartos when I first started - got to realize it was just too much hassle in the end.

The TT's are great straight out of the pack (once the soapy taste goes) I personally wouldn't use them any longer than the life of the coil due to the plating coming off -God knows what's underneath the chrome.

As far as the vape is concerned, they're just as good as the Killer - Killer coils even have the same soapy taste at the start.

thankfully, i havent encountered a soapy taste with mine, nor has my chrome plating worn off on any of my 5 TTs. i hope this doesnt change, but i appreciate the heads-up.

i really like the vape from mine. outstanding imo. i agree- the tank does need to be better tho. it should be sold with the AGR tank. or better yet- a glass version of an AGR (which doesnt actually exist, AFAIK).
one hting i notice is that it needs to be rebuilt kinda often. im used to gennys w/ ss wicks. they last so much longer and once you factor in the dry-burning its really a dramatic difference in longevity.

FYI - in case you are interested in a glass tube AGR - Gotvapes - Youde NEW AGR+ Pyrex Carto Stainless Tank with Locking Base -
Premiering the NEW AGR+ by Youde Technology. Just released, the AGR+ Carto Pyrex Tank features two Pyrex Glass Tanks along with a stainless steel build. Designed specifically for the Boge Regular and XL Cartos the new AGR+ now features two inner stainless tube sleeves and of course other AGR features described below. This is the latest AGR+ from Youde. It has a tiered base and has a snug top (earlier version of this had some reported problems with the threading for the top cap that caused the Pyrex glass tube to not fit properly and be loose).

thanks. i actually saw that yesterday. but i skipped it because it seems that the middle post is integral in the design, menaing i dont think the tank would hold together without it. and you wouldnt be able to use a terminator TT with that post in the way. if anyone thinks different, please let me know because i really liek the idea of this tank.

Ok - I come to all of you with hat in hand. I broke down and bought an agr tank and a terminator. I have never used cartos before so I have no experience with cartos or carto tanks. Actually used the terminator as a dripper to verify it worked, which it did. Washed out the agr tank and added the terminator to it and I thought it was all pretty snug. The terminator 510 to 510 connection was closed. Added juice via the top with the top cap off. Screwed the top cap back on (without the screw) very slowly. I then "opened" the 510 extender connection briefly then closed it down. About a minute later, the tank then proceeded to dump the juice through the 510 connection. Could someone tell me the correct "steps" to follow in adding a terminator to an agr tank ? Appreciate any help any of you could provide.

I honestly think that "extender" is a POS and a waste. I simply try to ignore it.

My biggy was fighting the valve and the bit of 'wobble' with their included 5ml tank. Filling was easy: I was just inverting, punching the tank & cap flush with bathroom counter and mouthpiece, and filling.. lift and push itback into place, invert and I could race off to work & vaping.

I get a soapy taste from new or torched silica for about half a tank regardless of what atomizer I'm using (Killer, Terminator, Diver, or other rebuildable). I don't think that the taste is as prominent or lasts as long when using Ekowool.

Sorry for the late reply; I'd say the soapy taste goes in about half a tank as well.
I torch all my ceramics, it sorts that problem - vendors selling the true 705 clone now; Grey Haze - K1 KILLER 705 RBA For Carto Tanks rainbowheaven

These tanks are great although they're polycarbonate;

They're larger diameter too.

keep the juice control completely closed when filling. heres what i do:
with the entire tank assembled and TT installed, close juice control completely.
then i open the fill port and fill with a needle bottle about 90% of the tank.
open the juice control ever so slightly, just until you see a bubble or two rise up.
then draw lightly without firing. this will suck juice into the bulb of the TT. dont suck too much, and dont open the jucie control very much or youll get a flood.
after you suck some juice in, youll see the level of jucie in the tank decrease. you might want to now close the juice control. it will make things easier while youre gettign the hang of it.*
now you want to close your fill port.
give another couple dry pulls to ensure no juice is leaking back out from the bulb through your AGR's air slots.
vape away.

*once you get good at figuring out how the TT feeds, you can begin to leave your jucie control open slightly to allow for continuous flow. but if all else fails and you just keep the juice control closed, all that will happen is a dry hit when the bulb gets dry. repeat the process above and your bulb will be full again, resulting in many many flavorful vapes before it gets dry again.

i havent had much luck with the X8 + TT combo. maybe if i nixed the juice control like you mention above, that would allow it to fit properly. i would really like to get a TT in my X8, because thats why i bought it. as of now, its a bit of a let-down..especially seeign how i lost the stabilizer screw from teh bottom cap

Kemosabe.... appreciate your description. I had not had the time to play with the AGR for a while, but today I finally broke down and replaced the o-rings on the agr tank (friend was kind enough to let me rob his x8 tank). After replacing the o-rings in the agr it is working flawlessly (at least for the last 2 hours). I will wait and see how it makes it through the rest of the day. Thank you for your help.

Purchased one of the Terminator Tanks and an extra atty from madvapes. Unfortunately I had to get the smaller tank version because they were sold out of the "5ml" tank version. The smaller tank doesn't work well with the TT atty at all...at least the one I got. The clearance between the outer atty "bell" and the inner wall of the tank is miniscule.... When air bubbles come out of the flow holes, they collect along the bottom becoming one big air pocket because they can't make it up to the top due to the lack of clearance. I can get around it by forcing the air pocket up by sliding the tube down, then up quickly, but then I've gotta putz around to reset the airflow where I had it to begin with.

I also noticed that with both atomizers, the two juice flow holes are partially obstructed by the white center pin grommet/seal that prevents juice from leaking out the bottom. In effect, even with the flow control wide open, they're still essentially closed off half-way or more by this grommet. Has anyone else noticed this?

In any event, the vapor seems decent and the flavor is OK...not quite on par with a dedicated dripper, but not too shabby....
