I think this is because the weight of the juice creates more gravity, feeding better. I've not used the small tank term but I do notice that a full tank feeds better than a emptier tank.

Actually, the amount of gravitational force acting on your juice remains relatively constant regardless of the amount of juice in the tank. The tiny amount of gravitational force that a few ml's of juice would create would be virtually unmeasurable...

What DOES make difference is the PRESSURE created by the column of liquid in a tank. With a bottom-coil tank like a Terminator-C, there is a 3-5ml column of liquid above the coil, and a few ml's of liquid WOULD make measurable difference in the fluid pressure at the bottom of the column.

So unless you are vaping half a tank, then going to Mars or the Moon (which have significantly lower gravity than the Earth) the gravitational force exerted on that last half tank of juice isn't going to be an issue.

Just sayin'... ;-)

Vapemail arrived. Evercleared and filled very easily. Vapes fine.

I can't quite figure out the airflow control, but I got the juice-control adjusted.. After a few hours, I took apart a spare and decided to recoil around 1.5-1.8.. A few reef knots (Diver knots), silver wire and 34awg nichrome.. Replaced the original coil and went right back to vaping.

This thing is quite a nice lil vape and is going to work tonight - my T3 died at work last night and I was vapeless all night.

I had cut off 7mm from my Terminator's tube to fit it nicely in a 45mm long OCD tank. I just got a pack of 5 and adapters for backups and decided to cut one down for my 35mm long tubes. I cut off 17mm and I couldn't fit drip tips in securely due to the hole-punched obstruction in the tube. I took 15mm off another one and it's working out well. It's obviously a warmer vape on a shorter tube.

I'm really impressed with this.

Now two days of vaping and 2 refills along the way: it doesn't pee all over a pocket and the vape doesn't try to melt my uvula.

I'm thinking about the X8 tank at FT, but i would like to get a longer (XL) tube for it, too. Anyone know the apropos dimensions and vendor? I'm sure IBtanked has the tube, right?

You mean this?

From the price, I presume it's the Tobeco thing.. I hear horror-stories. (Why I need to pay more elsewhere is beyond me, though).

If it's decent, let me know - I'm watching nautilii, terminator-c's and kayfun [lite]s - and "the russian".. It's gotta' be $50 or less before I am willing to venture any money on 'em.. (I been burned plenty over the last year-plus).

My tanks didn't work well on Mars, it was not the gravity but the atmospheric pressure (or lack of it). The juice just spurted out. Good think I had my drippers with me.

Yeah that's it. I'm gonna wait and see what others have to say before/if I get one.

I took my new shortened bell and replaced my longer bell that I was using in a 22mm XL (45mm) tank and moved it to a 22mm Standard (35mm) tank (I did not change the ceramic, coil, nest, or adapter - just the bell). I was experiencing dry hits and primer puffs often resulted in flooding, so I went back to the longer bell in the longer tank. It definitely seems to perform better for me in a longer tank.

Hi guys,

I followed this thread for a while before I purchased it and I just wanted to give my two cents as reading thru all of your guys' opinions really helped me make my decision.

I got my terminator "V2" which is the terminator in a slim 3.5ml DCT. It works perfect. Even though the liquid appears to be caught in areas, it sorts itself out and i'm yet to get a dry hit. At times it does bother me when I see a lot of space around the juice feeder so I simply push the tank up to the base of the atty and pull it back down and that usually sucks all the liquid to the bottom.. but honestly thats just for the visuals. it works fine even without doing that.

This is THE atty for me. I'm fairly 'new' to vaping so my experience is limited to ce4s and vivis but this tank gives me everything I want and gives it to me consistently. I blow the biggest clouds with it and I've yet to get a dry hit from it. I was intimidated initially because of what I've read about it wobbling or being 'fiddly' but the tank performed so well from the beginning the only adjustments I've made have been due to curiousity. I've never used a carto tank before so I came to this not knowing what to expect, but the flavor and vapor from this atty makes me not even want to use my wifes vivi. The word that always comes to mind when I try to describe the taste from the terminator is "clean". It has a very "clean" and "fresh" flavor. As far as filling and adjusting it, I make my own liquids so I am not too concerned about 'wasting' juice -- so I had room to experiment.

What I've done for my setup is:

* screw the 510 adapter to my battery as tight as I possibly can. I have a passhtru ego that I charge with USB so I don't need to remove the 510 adapter.

* I screw in the terminator until its in, but I never force it while tightening. You will want to adjust the juice feed at one point, so I just leave it loose.

* for filling it, i close the juice feeds and flip my setup upside down and push the atty upward towards the 510 connector and unscrew the battery. since the tank is a slim tank, there is not much room for error when filling it. i push the atty bank in the tank so the connector is level with the end of the tank and fill it until the liquid reaches the line on the bulb. i replace the cap and be sure not to let liquid reach the feed holes until the juice control is attached to the 510 adapter, or else you'll end up with liquid everywhere.

* since my juice control isn't firmly screwed on I adjust it simply by turning the tank around the atty so I dont have to futz around with grabbing the tube. I'm not sure what happens but it works fine. I have a feeling the inner seals of the tank are spinning the atty. I dont look too deep into it, it works.

* i use the little "washer" thing in the tube so I can use the tube as a mouthpiece. the length of the tube is too much for me, I like a small pocket setup.

the tank does have a little bit of wobble when you open the juice control up, and this being my first tank system, that wobble was very unsettling. however I got used to it. its not something you notice unless you try to wobble it and even then, for me, its not a big deal. as far as rebuilding them, well, we will see. I bought two terminators so one i've taken apart to check it out and it seems like it would be a pain to some extent but not that big of a deal. Having a backup means I can take my sweet time rebuilding it because I already have one working. I may get another one just so I can sleep well at night without worrying :)

all in all I am impressed with this unit. if you're looking for something that just 'works' YMMV. if you're looking for huge clouds and are willing to deal with the learning curve, then by all means this is an excellent device. I dont think i'd recommend it however... anyone who would be able to enjoy these things without considering it a fiddly device already knows about 'em. I'll report back after I do a full rebuild.

I still have my vivi but the only way the vivi even gets close to the terminator as far as taste is if I use cotton wicks. which isn't a problem... but nothing beats the dense fog the terminator produces.

pros:
-----
great flavor
great vapor
cheap
rebuildable

cons:
-----
has a learning curve
the 'wobble'
excessive tubing
may take some patience to rebuild it.

well, thats all for now. I hope you guys enjoyed my review.

P.S. has anyone sourced a US retailer for the ceramic cups?

I think, (for the current $9-12 price), the little Killer-clone is an excellent value and entry-point for "rebuildable" as well. Yes, we need to source the cups and the whacky-extension doohicky..

I'd used mine for 2 solid weeks at work, (after a recoil), and I found it an excellent, reliable vape. The wobbles are irritating, but the size was about perfect. The flavors, I found, were slightly 'muted' - in comparison to the same juice in my Aga-T (meshed). The flavor is even slightly muted as compared to my new Terminator-C.

At this point, I've rinsed, sanitized, dryburned and packaged for a PIF: I feel this unit is somewhat better - and easier to recoil - than a Nova. Source those two parts and it's gold.

Excellent dollar-value in this little package.

Vaping craze has the adapter as well as a 5-pack deal that comes out to about $3 and change per terminator. I bought 5 in addition to my original one. I pif'd one and tanked 3, i think I might keep the others for spare cups. At just over three bucks, it's about what a ceramic would cost anyway. But if you do want a ceramic, ce2s work- check back in the thread for the link.
Also that's a bummer about ibtanked needing 3 minimum for a custom tank. I ordered an x8 just to mod. I also ordered an agr. No glass option there, but it does lock. And also earlier in the thread it's been said the agr stops the wobble. Top fill port is money too.
