Have any of you tried the Smoktech Terminator? It's a knock off of the Killer 705. It is far cheaper than either the Killer or the Diver. I have a few of these and would be interested to hear how they actually compare to the real thing from anyone with experience.

I have to Killer clones, I haven't tried a Killer or Diver so i can't compare them. I can say I do like the clone. It is a bit fiddly (Like I've heard about the killer) do to the fill hole adjuster. I haven't had much flooding (mainly after refilling and a few draws fixes that) and no dry hit. But when opening the fill adjuster after filling sometimes it wants to unscrew the wrong part, above the adjuster, where it comes apart. To remedy this I don't screw the adjust all the way down to fill. I then turn it upside down and fill from the bottom with my finger over the drip tip. When the liquid gets up to the adjuster it tends to drip, just a lil, out of the tip. I quickly slid the clone back up into the tank. Like I said, it will be flooded for a few draws then I'm good to go.

I've found it works best half closed with 50/50 vg/pg, just like the Killer. I don't mind how finicky the clone can be. So i'm still torn on wether to get a Killer or Diver next since i got this to see if I'd like it as it's my first rba/rda. I hear the Diver is a lot less finicky and doesn't flood. I hear many saying "It just work's". Yet I prefer the look and finish of the Killer and the finicky bits about it are the same with this clone, and I don't mind. SOOO...shrug

BTW theres a LOOOONG thread all about the Terminator Killer clone. The thread man includes "Madvapes" and it's price "11.99"

I initially purchased the Diver 1-1/2 ago, as I waited for the reviews of the Killer. Upon reading numerous negative reviews of the Killer, I now have 4 Divers in my rotation.

Purchasing cartomizers are a thing of the past, now. I have enough wicking materials, ceramic cups, and wire to run these for a very long time to come.

The Diver has performed perfect from day one, for me. How it does not flood is beyond me.

It's funny, I was just fighting with that very issue minutes before reading your post. I usually do it just as you described, but this time I forgot to make sure the fill adjuster was loose before putting it in the tank. Dealing with that while holding the tank vertical upside down wasn't all that fun. Maybe that will help me remember next time.

Thanks, I'll look for that.

Myself, I'm going to hold off on Killer and Diver until I see a comparison from someone who knows the Terminator. I don't have a lot of money to put into these things and probably can't justify the price (especially for the Killer) unless I know there's a practical advantage.
