So, I was motivated to quit tobacco, and did so within 2 days of receiving my first e-cig kit. Didn't touch tobacco for 7 months. Then, recently, my kid (26, lol) decided she wanted to get on the roll, and absconded with all my e-cig parapherlnalia. And it didn't take me long to... buy some cigs!

I had been breathing so well! Not ever feeling over-heated (even living here in hot&steamy Florida)! And *never* awakening in the middle in the night with heart-palpitations!...oh, and my house smelled good!...

When I first started out with e-cigs last April, I invested about $400. Mostly because I was testing out units and juices.

I know that I could resume with a far lesser investment now, that I'm no longer ignorant/insane/experimenting.

I like big batteries. And I'm OK with dripping. Looks don't matter.

Please, please puhlease! -- advise me how I can get back to my e-cig routine, without having to spend a whole bunch of money!

(Thank you, thank you, thank you! in advance!)

{Edited to add: I'm on a severe budget now! Can't invest more than $100 for both units/juices for first month!!!}

I would just get a Bolt and 18650 extension, couple of battery's and charger. There have been some in the Classified for $50 - 60 lately. Both my brother and mother have migrated to vaping through this mod.

Solid, can't really go wrong and without the extension can be used as extra weight in your fist if your son tries to abscond with it !

You will know what you like now regards juice and atty/carto's.

Thanks for the support and specific pointers, dear Folks!

[Btw, Offspring took off with my ecig stuff because she also wants to quit smoking, and: I thought I was READY to do without! I really believed I had weaned myself off (wasn't even using the e-cigs daily, anymore).]

I began my journey -- which facilitated my successful abandonment of tobacco-smoking for over 7 months! -- with the "usual" couple of Joye-mini kits, and then a couple of Joye Ego-T kits. So I had 8 batteries in total.

The batteries were/are the "life". No matter how much I've weaned myself from routine-puffing, knowing that I have a big-a&& battery is important.

I really do dread anything that requires/has a "filler." (That's why I mentioned dripping being my preferred method.) [I agree that Boges are the best if going that route, but there's still something "impure" about doing it that way, in my head, lol!]

I once saw a super-cheapo box-mod that everyone here touted. Some hideous black plastic box that one just attaches their fave juice-bottle to, and there ya go!
(I think at MadVapes, but not sure! [headed to research now!] Does it ring a bell to anyone here?)

Since I no longer have a penchant for "smoking" anywhere but outside my home -- and like I said, I don't care about the appearance of the delivery-method! -- I am VERY open to box-mods! (even hideous ones, lol!)

I am proceeding now to compare/contrast Roughstack, Bolt, Kgos that the dear contributors to this thread took their time to recommend. Thanks so much, smart & thoughtful vapers!!! Best to ya!

I really like the innokin AIO kit small battery and really nice cartomizers with a pcc which will last all day. I have got seriously into rebuildable atomisers and big battery mods, my current favs are the GG (got one second hand) the Megaladon (electricstix in the USA I think) and I also really like the lava tube (variable voltage on a budget).

But I would get your kit back off you kid or get them to buy you a new kit!!

I have both the regular madvapes box mod and the VV one. They are good deals and provide a sweet vape. Had a switch die on one within the thirty day day warranty (which they replaced) so dependability not so good. Sticking to my EGO's now but hit the boxes every now and then. So for what it's worth that's my review of the box mods. If money is tight I wouldn't take the chance. A $45 KGO kit might be more dependable, at least you will have a back up battery.

http://www.vaporbeast.com/starter_kits_s/1513.htm - comes with extension. All you need is a couple 18650 batteries and a charger. This is the cheapest I know of with the extension. $37.95 for painted ones...gun metal and chrome are $39.95. They also come with one 18500 battery that can be used without the extension.

Seems to me you should at least get half your stuff back from the kid! At least until you can swing replacing it with your hard earned knowledge. i am in the process of upgrading from 808's to a KGO kit. With some extras and a few juice samples it is costing me $66. That would leave you $34 for your favorite juice.
