Kind of new to ecigs, 510 cartomizer suggestion?

Hello to all,
Kind of new to vaping, had tried two years ago to no avail, flavors and vapor production just not satisfying the craving enough.
Anyway, flash forward and I'm going to try again.. I unfortunately bought some Boge's and sure enough, 3 of the 5 in the pack of blanks were shot within seconds of filling.. Out of curiosity, anyone found a decent/good alternative 510 cart?

Many will disagree, but I am a big fan of the clearos. I shop exclusively at gotvapes GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more. I think my favorite right now are the bottom coil phoenix GotVapes PHOENiX™ Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml Cartomizer 2.4-2.6ohms [gv-PHOENIX-XL-2.4-510] - $11.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more as long as you don't mind a slightly cooler vape. The TC Phoenix I am still not quite sure of... they seem a bit more fiddly. The Fluxos are pretty solid too. Head over to the gotvapes forums and educate yourself about clearos if you decide to try them. There are some tricks that really help performance on them.

1) I've heard a lot of people like the non-Boge ones from Sweet Vapes.

2) I'm about to try some Resurrectors soon as well, seem to work great on 3.7 devices.

Like you, I have a box of boge, one drained my battery immediately (shorted), and there was another one in the box that wouldn't fire up at all. So, yeah, I'm so done with them for now.

I got some Boges here that I clean every week and are almost 6 months old and working perfectly. Instead of blaming Boge perhaps blame the source you are getting them from. You know in China and much of South East Asia it's like a way of life to pass off fakes on each other. I had a friend over there actually buy FAKE Blank CD's. A spindle of CD's is like $8. It seems like it would be a waste of time and money to create and elaborate fake but they do it anyway.

In short, watch out for fakes, and Boges should be called the Resurrectors, not Smoktechs. They NEVER die.
That said, get a Vivi Nova and learn how to rewick them and you'll never have to worry about that kind of stuff again.

I personally love boge cartos I buy them from provape.com 1.8 ohm for reo grand and 3.0 ohm for provari

LOVE my 1.7 Smok Tech cartos on my 3.7 PVs but understand both Boge and Smok Tech are having QC issues as reported by veteran Vapers. PBuardo has a YouTube vid vaped "Boge Gate". It's for this reason I'm suggesting either the rebuildable Stardust or Vivi Nova until they resolve the carto QC issue.

I have to give the Kanger HC cartos a shout-out. I use the standard resistance (2.7 ohm) Kangers on my Twist, and they last forever and I never get DOA's. Great flavor and vapor. Kanger 510 Cartomizer - 5 Pack

Look no further than 1.7ohm smoketech single coil cartos. They're simply awesome! And I've tried ALOT of cartos, including boge. Use them in a dct, and you're in vape heaven.

PBuardo has a YouTube vid vaped "Boge Gate".

Vapoor, and doesn't Grimm Green have one out on the vivi nova......it shorted on him on several different batts or something? although I do see that he did not properly do the experiment correctly to draw any conclusions. Could have been a bad unit, dunno if he tested others?

SmokeTech cartos are good. Love thunderheads! AWSOME! I must say however, my Boge cartos have been good lately.

I did see the grimmgreen vid and my interest was peaked, on the down side I should have just gone to gotvapes, instead I got some sunrise ones and they wouldn't work on the ego. But think I will make a purchase as they are reasonable. Not quite sure about going to an atomizer......,,yet

Yeah, I agree.. Although $7-9 isn't an extreme amount of cash, it's still cash, not to mention if you don't have any others in back its quite annoying to have to wait for another order.

Are you using a 510 mini or ego style battery?

I have a 510 ego, and 808 ego with other carts so I'm using an adapter for 510 batt to 808... Just a little weary of adapters, if not for losing it, just thinking about shorting batteries or something. I just keep hearing my 8th grade shop teacher go on about using the 2 prong pwr adapters on what should be 3!

I saw both of those videos, kind of frightening. Makes me want to avoid anything above a 3.7 mod
