hi all,

just got the AVS delivered today so thank you imeo for the speedy delivery :)

my 1st experience with it was not too pleasant as it was just bubbling like a fart in a jacuzzi and very little vapour.
second and current experience has improved greatly and i think i have it worked out now.........mainly thanks to watching several vids by keon (i think thats his name, you know the guy :) ) and reading the various posts on this forum.

but there is something that i cant quite work out and that is how the e-liquid is being fed.
i realise that its all done by air pressure, vacuums etc, but is the e-liquid being transferred via the small hole in the atomiser or is it being fed up to the atomiser by that secondary overflow tank? (cant remember the official name! lol)
im pretty confident that its being fed via the small hole on the side of the atomiser but then i cant work out how the liquid makes its way to the overflow chamber (ive not found any liquid there yet personally but ive seen vids that have)

ive worked out how to combat flooding, dry atomiser etc etc.......the only thing im not 100% sure on is how the liquid gets to the atty.

so the quick question is........hole or overflow thingymajig? :D

cheers

scott

ps......imeo, its an exceptionally clever piece of engineering mate!

pps........is there a minimum amount of fluid that you have to use? whilst still getting to know it properly id rather not use too much e-liquid! lol

Hi my friend Scott, I am happy that you got it !

ok, see the steps:

1) clean the AVS
2) Put a clean atomizer on the VS connector and screw the connector to the AVS
3) Put liquid inside the tamk
4) screw very slow the cap
5) Take off rthe mouthpiece to see if liquid is inside the atty. If yes, then empty it.
6) Pull the trigger and smoke. If you see a burn taste close the CR and take 3 primary inhales.

The atomizer is feeded by the small hole on the side. When leakage on the collector tank reach a specific level then atomizer starts feeding itself from the cener pole too. If you see a flooding effect just empty the liquid from the collector tank to a bottle:)

It's the hole...Only the hole. That side hole on the 901 atomizer. And if the collector tank underneath the Atty connection, gets filled enough, the atomizer can also get fed by the bottom hole.

When you feel the atomizer getting dry, close the control ring, and suck a little on the mouthpiece, to let the pressure push few drops of liquid back inside the atomizer. Then, re-open the control ring a little, and vape.

If the side hole of the atomizer doesn't let enough liquid inside the atty, for one reason or another, like using thick VG maybe, you can always enlarge it a bit with the necessary tool and it will work good.

I think that's it, basically.

I dont mean to hijack the thread, but imeo (or anyone) can you tell us exactly how to run a 510 (practically) in the AVS? My LR 901 will not work in the AVS because it does not screw flat against the connector (causing it to leak). I tried going back to regular resistance but I just can't do it..

Help a LR addict please!

imeo, I will have to take a picture (hard to describe).

As you know, there are a number of "versions" of the 901 center pole (some are higher or lower than others). The version of low resistance 901 that I have is a "low sitting pole" so it does not screw flat against the bottom AVS screw (there is +/- 1mm gap). Does that help at all?

Thank you Scott for the kind comments on youtube. Hearing this from a pro reviewer is awsome. Your videos are the clearest and most honest i ever seen for E-cigs! I hope one day you can have the pleasure of trying a XHV or VHV901 High voltage 5.2 ohm, on a pair of 2 16340's at 7.4v. I would love for you to do me a favor and post it on a GGTS/AVS review when you have some time to make one with this setup! Keon's Recommended choice!!! Thanks again man!!!

So you dont have a contact or you have a contact before atomizer sits on the base of the connector buddy?

if you dont have a contact (I doupt) then nothing we can do. But if the opossite happens then just unscrew the pin that AVS connector has so atomizer will sit well on the connector. I made the pin like this to all GG so we can have contact with all atomizers
