Has anyone else had issues with the Kissbox Yentl causing the back of their throat to burn horribley? I have been e-smoking for almost 2 months now with my Super cigarette and smoked several of my friends Kissbox Yentl's and had no issues. So I know it's not just a matter of adjusting to E-smoking. I also noticed the white fibers under the atomizer are black and charred.

I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem. If so, was it a defective part? Was it something we did to cause this? did you ever get this issue resolved? Any help will be greatly appreciated!! :thumb:

Just so you know, Janty USA has been very helpful trhu my whole ordeal. the Customer Service is great!

Well I have had 2 Kissboxes so far. The first I recieved about 9 days ago and it was DOA. No vapor no matter what I did or whose batteries I tried. The current one I recieved monday and it started burning my throat from the first puff with a fully charged battery and a freashly opened Chocolate High carts. I don't think it's the carts. I've tried them on my friends Kissboxes and I get no burning and it actually tastes great! So I guess the answer you want is 3 days. I tried to convince myself that this would pass but it hasn't. Honestly the burning is so unbearable I can't stand to even try hitting it anymore.

Yikes. I agree, fibers. And yeah, it WILL burn the hell out of your throat, nose and tongue if you are burning fibers. It's happened to me before. It hurts!

It should be easy to remove the fibers from the atomizer of a yentl.

I tried pulling the fibers out. i got what I could but there seems to be a large thinker chunk stuck inside. It won't move. Are those fibers attached to the inside of the atomizer?

did u purchase this from jeff at jantyusa? if u did he is awesome to deal with im sure would more then gladly send u a new atomizer or 2 so u had a spare. he is really great to deal with.

Yes I did, and yes Jeff is great!!!! He is the one who replaced my origional Kissbox. When I first emailed him he replied in less then 5 minutes!!!! I will surely be dealing with him a lot more in the future. Honestly, I feel kind of bad complaining again. He already tried to fix my problem once! I am just wondering if someone in the QA department was asleep when they shipped out this last batch of atomizers. 2 bad ones in a row is just plain bad luck for me. :( I do know tho the Kissbox Yentl is GREAT! I have tried others and they were 10x better then my Super Cigarette.

Hey Floydage

I don't think these are cart fibres if they're under the atomiser ring. They're probably part of the 'wick'. There are posts around the forum of this material drying out and getting scorched. If that's the case the atomiser will never lose that taste and will operate less than optimally. I'll try and find some illustrative pics.

Don't worry about complaining. The kissbox is still so new that any problems you are having, I'm sure Janty wants to know. They are awesome to deal with and I have had many issues and all have been resolved very fast.

Contact Jeff and tell him what the problem is and if it is something you can fix he will tell you, if not he will send you a new atomizer.

Karen, have you tried removing fibers from a penstyle? I haven't figured out a good way to get those suckers out. I've been hoping someone had a good method. :thumb:

Jamie suggested using a blacklight flashlight so I could easily see them. I have one on order and I have some extra long tweezers. I'm just hoping that works instead of having to contantly give those buggers a bath.

My kiss classic atomizer was HORRIBLE tasting. Ghahhh! Had to give it a Saturday night bath. It's great now, but hoping I can get something done with the tweezers and blacklight in the future.

Yes. The wick is a great way of putting it. I didn't do a great job of describing what part I was talking. Please let me know if you find pics of that.

I ordered Jamie's blacklight so now I can see them......just can't seem to get hold of them. Guess I'll have to order your extra long tweezers now. :)

Not that it will help a whole lot. I'm thinking an EXTRA PERSON might help. One to hold the flashlight and one....

Oh my god. This is starting to sound like one of those 'screw in a lightbulb' jokes!
