One of my customers came in today and said that Kitsap County was trying to ban eCigs but google and looking around haven't revealed anything about such a thing. Since I don't know if it's the board of health, or county seat or anything I don't know who to call. This, obviously, would effect my business in a huge way, not to mention the fact that I vape everywhere I go and have lots of people in the area who do.

King County already banned vaping in public places.

Start with local government, contacting the person you elected to carry out your wishes as a citizen. If the folks who propose and pass laws don't know what's going on, the next step would be to call the local BoH.

Please let us know what you learn.

Unfortunately BoH's aren't all they are cracked up to be- But trying is worth it- and I wish you best of luck!!!

My local experience has been that they are heavily influenced by the CDC who is influenced by FDA who is influenced by Big Pharma. Recently, the BoH in our area came out with a directive to restaurants/bars- that E-Cigs shouldn't be used where food is served for "sanitation purposes." My local brewery/restaurant just ignored them and allows me to keep vaping- their response was that the BoH aren't the law... My local sushi bar on the other hand quoted the BoH when they told me to "put out" my Reo... This was after I had been allowed to vape there for some time.
