    Hi all
I'm going to try and put some more effort into getting our group going. So if anyone knows of a vaping friendly place in Oregon,Washington,Idaho or in Rosa's case,Calif. :) or anywhere along the OR Trail please post it here. It can be any kind of place...also...if you have experienced a negative reaction or been asked to stop vaping somewhere put that here as well.
    Happy Vaping! :toast:

In my travels, I have only found one in Klamath Falls. It is the truck stop/lounge by the name of Mollie's. I'm not sure if they only let me vape in there cause I know the owner and all the bartenders.

Mollie's is located on the north end of Kfalls on Hwy 97.

I plan to find some places in Bend while I visit friends this summer.

In California, I would think that you can vape in all the casinos if they let analog cigs in them. I know that they allow analog cigs at Rolling Hills Casino in Corning, CA. I occasionally stop there for a drink since they have truck parking.

No vaping in Red Robin Restraunts. I was told by the manager in one of the Vancouver locations that not only will you be asked to leave, you will be asked NOT TO RETURN. He said this was a company wide policy.

Hi all! I haven't had anyone ask me to stop - but I'm pretty stealthy about it - I have vaped at my Dr.'s office and the Tuality ER without any problems - lol! I hope nobody is visiting the ER though!

Chicago Style Pizza in Clackamas allows you to vape in the bar...suggestion, always clear it with the bartender or waitress first tho. I have left a CASAA info tri-fold flyer for them that they keep behind the bar.

Reel em Inn on Division used to sell ecigs, they have no issue with them and about the best chicken in Portland. ;)

I am relatively new to the OR area and will keep a close watch on local spots around town or when I go into Portland that might allow vaping. So far I have not tried it in any public areas, but I am sure at some point I may try :) If I find anything, I'll be sure to post it here.

Clackamas sounds good (pizza also sounds good) but I'm also prejudiced by my Southwest (Tualatin) location. That would not prevent a little road trip to any Portland area location for a meetup, though ....

The only place I've gotten the okay at was the Old Barn on BHH. I'm guessing that it just depends on which bartender is working and how friendly/drunk they are though. I've been shut down at the McMenimans Hillsdale pub, pretty rudely too. The bartender told me they had recently had a company meeting and the owner told all the employees that PVs aren't allowed in McMenimans pubs. Since then, I've just been asking bartenders if their business allows it first and they've all had no idea what it is, but upon my explaination and demonstration, given me a very firm no.

Just ran across this thread...sorry for my late entry. I spent some time in Portland last November; stayed at the Marriott Downtown. Huffed away in the Sports Bar on the second floor, bartender was OK after I explained what it was; I told him if he got any complaints that I would stop. Steath vaped in alot of places downtown, and vaped for a while at Kells, backroom not the bar....but I didn't ask first. Didn't seem to be a problem, there was so much smoke coming in from the door, and the cigar bar downstairs that I don't think anyone would have noticed if I was smoking an analog!

The Veritable Quandry (VG for short) which is right near the Marriott was very receptive to vaping...Bartender asked a ton of questions, and has probably started vaping herself. She thought the whole idea was very cool.....

I live out in the boonies southwest of Portland about an hour, but if someone wants to have a vape-in I would be willing to drive up there....I know the owner of Sip'DVine in the village, maybe I can talk her in to hosting the vaping get together (as long as we all agree to buy some wine....I don't expect her to host for free.....) Let me know if anyone is interested....

Hawthorne Hideaway. Checked in with the barkeep and got the green light to vape. Decent joint, good burger and drinks. Althought I think the 1/2# happy-hour burger could in no way have been a 1/2# patty. Tasty, but not a half pound.

Hey Guys! Been vaping since May 2009 and just moved back from Arizona to Portland. Tough transition because when it comes to vaping Arizona is in the "now" about it. Anyways, I'd like to get a regular group going. Not one where we meet at the same place but different places twice a month to get people excited about it. Sign into the group I created:

Went to the Sports Page on Hall in Beaverton last night (cheesy spot but lots of screens) and was told (I asked first) that it was fine for me to vape openly. A few questions from smokers but no hassles whatsoever.

Hello all, this is exactly the thread I've been looking for!! Atsirk, I don't live far from the Sports Page, and have lunched there many times...(and you are correct, it IS cheesy there, but they make a mean grilled cheese sandwich that I dip in salsa...really buttery and wonderful, just like my Mom's!) But that was all before I started vaping. I'll have to go there for lunch with the girls next time we go. Won't they be surprised when I start vaping right at the table in front of them! (of course, I'll ask the bartender first) They are all smokers, and I've tried to explain the beauty of these to them, but they all still look at me weird. I guess it would look better to them if I could stop smoking altogether, but I'm having issues. I have only been vaping off and on for the last four months, trying to figure out why I can't stop the analogs. But I'm working on it, and I know I've at least cut back on smoking.

I went to the bar at Big Red's on Scholl's Ferry a month or two ago, and asked the barmaid if I could vape. I showed her my KR808 and she actually had heard about e-cigs. She said sure, it was slow and we had the bar to ourselves pretty much, so I did. I didn't blow vapor all over the place, and was discreet about it...she came back over later to check on us and asked me if I'd changed my mind about vaping. I told her I'd been vaping happily for some time, but was done and had put it back in the case. She asked to see it again, and then started telling me her mother was trying to quit and had been looking into e-cigs as an alternative. I gave her one of the V4L cards I had with me, and wrote down the ECF web address on the back. It was pretty cool, but I wouldn't try to vape in the restaurant side, just the bar side.

I've heard that hollywood bowl allows medical ......... patients to vaporize their herb in there, I can't imagine they'd object to us! ;)

So maybe July 16, 2011 maybe a good date? It's a Saturday. After the holiday. Summer. Lets decide on one of the places mentioned above. Send me your responses to my email or any other suggestions and I'll try to coordinate it. Bring all your goodies with you. Sharing(stories, recommendations, etc.) encouraged if you can. I'll probably bring juice, a few mods and some cartomizers. Hope to see everyone there, bring a friend(s)!
