When I turn my mod on and its unlocked, if i put my ear up to the top side of the battery door, i can hear a "hissing" or "buzzing" noise. Its very quiet, but i can definitely hear it if i put it up to my ear like its a cell phone. Can anyone check theirs and see if its doing this?

Im guessing its the chip located there making this slight noise. Once the screen goes off and the mod goes to "sleep" the noise goes away.

I'm not hearing that on mine, but my HF range may be compromised after decades of playing guitar on stage. ;)

I can hear the sizzle of the coil if I press fire while my ear is next to the top of the battery door. BTW, the Koopor Plus must have a higher frequency voltage regulator. The coil sizzle is as smooth as my Provari V2 (800hz).

Switching regulator noise perhaps? Many regulators and digital displays have a clock oscillator (lo frequency) that runs all the time...controls the timing pulse of the regulator and can also double as a display driver trigger (to simplify the part count).
