I just picked up a Koopor Plus 200 watt mod and I'm wondering if anyone else has messed with them. I'm having difficulties doing a couple things and I'm not sure if the directions are outsmarting me or if it's not quite capable of some of the things it is advertised to do. For example, I can set the mod to TC mode and adjust the temp controls, but supposedly the temp will lock with a combination of buttons to avoid changing the settings, which I can't get to work. Also, I can't get into the settings to select Ni or Ti.

Anyone?

The Koopor Plus 200W TC Box Mod by SMOKtech is the progressive evolution of the original Koopor Mini, capable of delivering an impressive 200 watts of power with the integration of Dual Driver System and HFDMR Technology. A greater power ceiling in comparison to the Koopor Mini, this new device takes dual 18650 batteries (sold separately) to feed the onboard with the necessary power to reach 200W and can fire down to 0.8ohm

... That's where I stopped reading. Who needs 200W @ 0.8ohm??? 200W on a quad clapton, sure. But a 8 wrap 28G dual build? #moltenkanthal

I hope that's a type-o. If not, it wouldn't fire half my attys.

It sure is. It fires down to .08 in TC mode an .1 in VW mode.

Did anyone ever figure out the button thing? I just got mine and cant lock the watts like the OP said either

I think I may have figured it out but I'm not using a TC coil right now to test my theory. If you hit the fire button 5 times the device will lock. Try locking the mod and then hitting the up and down buttons. I think that will lock the temp into place then you can unlock the mod again to vape. I'm going to give it a shot next time I put in a TC coil.

I wound a .8 titanium coil the other day and tried it. Even at 200 degrees it was hot and produced far more vapor than I like. I had the strength set on soft and it was reading around 29 watts in the display in temp mode.

The specs say that it goes from .08 to 3 ohms in temp mode and 1 to 3 in wattage mode. Maybe I'll play around with my 1.8 ohm coils and try to get it to behave with higher resistance.

I'm usually at 8 or 10 watts on anything I vape. Higher is hotter and I like a cool to slightly warm vape. I'm definitely not a cloud vapor.
