I successfully vaped all day in the casino, and saw vapers "in the wild" for the first time ever. When it came time for the concert, I got a bit concerned about security and all that, so I stealthed in line. After seeing a few others vaping openly, I gave up on the stealth and just went for it. Everything was great in the concert, we got right up front in the pit (like, thisclose to the band
) and I only had problems with security after a few people started lighting up analogs and other unmentionable substances. once I showed them it wasn't me, and what I had, all was cool. The people who got kicked out for smoking analogs were kinda mad at me though
. And I managed to spread the word to several others squished in next to/on me. Normally, I'm with the "if you can't smoke, don't vape" crowd, but there is an exception to every rule, and standing packed among 2500 strangers for 5 hours qualifies as an exception for me
So A+ for the understanding staff at the Showboat Casino and House of Blues.
