Masses of vapor has never been a big thing for me either; in fact, I think less vapor actually benefits me quite a bit when I am vaping at work or out somewhere. I have a couple atties on order so am anxious to see if my results might be similar to yours. Time will tell...... I also have a couple flavors that don't seem to come out too well using the cartos so am hoping they will be better with the atty.
It's definitely worth trying, and I do like my 901. It's just not my main vape I guess. Once the novelty of it wore off, I just found myself not using it as much.
The other thing it's handy for, is flavors you're running low on. Dedicating a carto to a flavor you only have 2ml left of is frustrating, and dripping (or carts, since it's so easy and cheap to just switch out the polyfill) is good for that.
So, I guess to me, a carto feels more like smoking, and an atty feels more like vaping, if that makes sense. The difference in experience is a lot more tangible.
