So long story short, bought a 2 batt auto kit from myvaporstore.com, aewsome love it. Wet a battery, ruined it and ordered a new one from same site. Slightly different looking end 4 holes instead of 2 but worked great right from being for like 5-6 hours, recharged it, started getting real hot on charger, so sent it back for an exchange, get my 2nd one and no hot charging issue but i do get this....Start using with refilled carto and works fine for maybe a half hour, then whenever i take a drag it seems to work for a second then i feel cold air coming through (without vapor) and the led stays lit for 5 more seconds, this happens consistently, really annoying since this happened with the first battery too. however if i just take a drag from the battery for no matter how long (2, 3 seconds ) the led seems to brighten and dull normally. I guess my question is, is there some kinda new micro chip that senses too much use and cuts you off, does it know when a carto has been reused? I have already tried readjusting the tip for better connection and nothing. I have no clue and am debating ever getting another battery from them again

A lot of 808D-1 batteries do have time cut offs and they range depending on the manufacturer/vendor. No battery can tell whether the carto is being reused or not. But it sounds like you might have issues with juice getting in the battery itself which is typical of auto batteries. This can kill your battery, which is why it is always advisable that you use manual(sealed) batteries that have a button on them.

Check out the manual batteries from Bloog, Vapor4Life and SmokelessImage. They are all KR808D-1 systems.

1. If you want more reliable batteries don't buy autos ESPECIALLY if you are filling/refilling cartos

2. Try the manuals Vaporkings.com has or Vapor4Life is similar w/ more colors - these should be somewhat sealed inside. Or for even safer try the new rubberized style with totally sealed threaded end on the manuals (though a tiny button) from SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet and I think HalogCigs G6 is the same model. I know SmokelessImage has some manuals because I own one of those along with my Vapor4Life and original manufacturer gold-button one.

Since the battery was new i know i haven't accidentily dripped into, im very careful now since thats how i ruined one of my first ones. The carto is taken off the batt, refilled and i make sure its not leaking and i also dry the thread just in case. ive never had this weird cut off issue with either of the first 2 auto's i got from mvs.com. I do know they get there starter kits from Kanger and im not sure who makes these other ones they badge with there own name. Im ok with autos, i may pick up a manual later on, but i do enjoy the almost like real cig use from the autos. I know everyone recommends going through some big name like v4l but i just cant see spending 20-30 bucks on just a battery when my perfectly fine working kit for 32 bucks was so reliable (2 batts, usb n wall charger n 6 prefiiled carts) I'll prob just get another starter kit from them for another $32, in which case ill get 2 more batteries, as long as they are still made by kanger

And Bloogplanet has colors of cartomizers as does Vapor4Life. I need the carto color to mostly stop myself from filling with the wrong juice. I don't use endcaps on my main cartos. I use drip tips (little plain plastic and delrin ones from LiteCigUSA.net) but when you are filling, end cap or drip tip is not on and that is enough time for me to not pay attention to what I am doing and put the wrong juice in. But I did get some of of the colored end caps anyway.

Sounds like the switch is acting up Wonka (sir or Ms.?). If it had reached it's cut off point the led would flash, not stay on... On generic gen 1 batts the cut off time should be 8 seconds... If you're positive no juice has gotten in it (and you'll be surprised how little juice it takes to clog it up, especially if you charged it after some juice got into it) then you can try wacking it on the table right under the logo a few times to loosen it up...

Its Mr. btw, anyways going back to battery, mvs.com is nice enough to just send me an extra battery (i requested a manual) but in either case there should be no reason that 2 batteries sent to me had the exact same problem right after the first charge. I still have the battery and still keep trying to figure it out. I can't find any troubleshoot info about it. And it still happens... pick up the auto, take maybe 3 drags works fine, 4th drag i get that weird led stay lit for 5 sec scenario, then if i leave it alone for a few minutes same cycle happens, and this happens all day long so i know the battery isn't dead, im syill confused as to why i can also drag just the battery and it works fine ( led wise at least ) but the second i screw on a carto BAM no vapor and led phenomenon

Have you thought about changing your PV? I spent close to $200 on KR808's (not including carts and the other goodies for these cute little batteries). Finally after about 2 months of this I moved up to the IGO's. The batteries are long lasting with great vapor. Also, some of the KR808 carts will work on these batteries. Before you buy another kit, maybe you should contemplate a switch!! You can check them here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...go-kits-1300mah-45-00-650-mah-40-00-a-26.html D and B Gold - Home Bill has great prices and ships very quickly if he has the stock. Also, he can answer many of your questions you might have, he's a great supplier!! Good Luck!!
