So if there's any way possible to make a long story short... (you know there never is...)
A while back I ordered some KR808D-1 cartomizers for my pop. Got him some orange ones because they look darn close to the regular filters.
I got them, dropped them off to dear old dad. I got a call from Dad a few days later. He complained he couldn't get any of them to work, ie. no vapor.
Now my pop is 68, and not too tech-savvy. So I stopped over his place and tried one or two out. Sure enough, couldn't get anything. I even tried a different battery thinking maybe that one was dead. Still no luck.

So I contacted Electronic Ash about them. They immediately offered a refund or exchange on them. Well I was in the middle of moving after having lived in my place for 17 years, raising 3 kids, and eventually a grandson. So imagine how much stuff we had to go through. 6 weeks later, we get to the new house. Once I got the main essentials unpacked I searched for the cartos to return. Couldn't find them. I knew I had them somewhere... in a box... with stuff... Well guess how that went.

Still, E-Ash sent me new ones anyway, on the premise to honor their customer service. I just got them the other day and was going to drop them off to dear ol' dad today. On a fluke, I decided to check these cartos too, my own QA. I opened the top off one and looked inside. NO WIRE? I opened a second, then a third. Two of the three had no wire visible up the center tube. The third had just the end of one sticking out the poly fill up the side... no wire in the center (that I can see).

So I contacted E-Ash again. Without hesitation they again offered replacement and/or refund. I gotta say, that's darn good customer service. Then, through a few more emails with E-Ash, I come to realize sometime in May Kanger (maker of the KR808 and parts) changed the make of their cartomizers, and that the wire is no longer all the way up the middle of the center tube. Hearing this, I try a new carto out. I filled it with juice, stuck it on my e-cig and viola.. vapor. Vaped like a champ.

What does this all mean? That means, Electronic Ash is yet another of the great e-cig supply sites who still honor old fashioned traditions of "customer first". They went out of their way, bent over backwards for me. Now, I'm but one small fish in the great pond of vapers out there, but they still took the time to give me their all.

Bravo! Electronic Ash, for outstanding customer service above and beyond those other places that sell based on volume, and not quality. And thank you for providing me the answers regarding these new cartomizer styles.

As for the originals, I have no idea about them. For all I know, maybe my pop had 2 dead batteries, or something blocking them from working right, or whatever. Whatever the reason for them not working right, you folks were right there to help.
