I dunno,I feel like its got to be an improvement. One burnt cart out of how many?

One burnt cart.. every burnt cart.. it doesn't matter at all. Not until you know what you're inhaling when they "burn". Then you can decide what the tolerable levels are.

It doesn't take much cyanide.........

Hi,

My cigar store carries the Elektro brand e-cig, which I looked up here and it's just a KR808.

As I understand it, the cartridges are 'cartomizers' so you never have to buy a new atomizer...you get a new one in each cartridge.

Would this be a good model to start with, whether I buy the generic one or the Elektro-branded one? Is there any downside to this model?

If I didn't have an interest in modding or filling up my own carts or cleaning the atomizers regularly...it seems like this would be perfect. But I don't know how reliable or prone to failure they are, etc.

The forum won't let me post yet in the Kr808 subforum.
I have one the 808 that is, great, no problem. Rather the cartos over the carts.

Whether that burned filling is as bad a cigarettes or not is utterly irrelevant. Banging my head against the wall is also not as harmfull for my lungs as smoking analogs was, but I still don't think I should do it.

Many cartos burn. People inhale that burned filling. And it's odd, no matter how bad cigarette smoke is, but the recommendation on inhaling fumes from burning, unknown substances is rarely ever recommended. Actually, it's usually a blanket "Don't!" you hear. So why exactly should we ignore those particularly fumes?

If they were unavoidable, it might be worth considering whether one likes this particular method of nicotine delivery well enough to risk them, as we did with cigarette smoke. As they are perfectly easy to avoid (even with cartos), I think it's gross negligence at least (and in many cases probably greed for freebies, too) to tell people to ignore the problem until somebody may or may not take care of it.

What do you think of the Jantystick or just using 901 atomizers on the KR808 batteries?

I think the eGo is a little long to fit in a pocket without disassembling and reassembling every time I want some vapor.

I don't like the feedback people are giving about the 501. And while I love the design of the volcanoecig, no one here seems to like it or the blu.

901 attys on kr8 batteries is a good, economical solution until you decide to maybe try the eGo, which I have heard great things about. I ordered the 901 attys and a few 901 tips, and I will be good to go. No worry about burning carts.

An eGo ist just a tiny bit longer than a regular 510, have a look at the pic attached. (Gotta make a better one soon.) It is by no means too long to fit into a shirt pocket.

A 901 on the KR8 batteries is a very cheap way of using up your KR8 batteries, and my 901s run on a 360mAh KR8 battery. Very convenient.

I am, personally, not too fond of the stick types, so I never tried a Janty stick. I will try an 801 when the BabyJ comes out, though; so far, I have little experience with them.

Those are the mayor three atties at the moment, and they are all quite different. I very much prefer the 510, I find the other ones a bit too mellow; and that goes for many people. Some flavours are a tad better in a 901, I think, though; particularly very delicate ones. No reason not to have both and give them a try. The 801, too many clones, too many types of battery mods, for my taste, as I said, I'll try the BabyJ when it comes out.

Oh I see, thanks. I hadn't seen them side-by-side, so in the videos of the eGo by itself the dimensions seemed a lot different.

I have an auto bat for my KR808, which I'm not too thrilled with, so I may start over with something else. I am still glad I tried it, though...this was sold locally at a tobacco shop so I thought it would be more convenient than ordering online and waiting for shipping etc.

I may go with an eGo or Jantystick, not sure.
