BTW, does anyone else have a bit of trouble with manual batteries?

I've got to send 1 back-->tried repairing it from info found here, but couldn't. Now my newest manual (kr808) XL is sticking at times. I feel like I'm mashing the button IN to get it to work. Anyone advice???

with the kr808 i did have a problem with the buttons. A lot of different problems. I had one that started sticking, and it just got worse and after a while didnt fire up the ecig. The one manual in mini/stick style that i really have "trusted" not to malfunction is at gotvapes, I love this store, it is the 350 mah xl manual...it was introduced not long ago and very dependable. I dont know the return policy of the battery you got, but I would call them about the button sticking. Sorry I am not tech savy, maybe others here can help with the button problem....there are a lot of people here who are awsome with modding and figuring out problems.
