Hey Earthpig! Thanks very much for the heads up regarding these blank cartos -

Is it just that these carto's can be refilled more times than say a prefilled carto I've saved and would like to use again? Do they burn warmer/cooler or give a better throat hit? What's the dealio?

The pricing is good - I've checked out all three. Just curious. I really like my 808XL - alot. It's ez for me!

The mad scientist in me is only interested in playing with the ejuices - I seem to get plenty of great vapes and battery life with what I have so far anyway!

Probably not without an adapter. But I'm sure boge makes an 808 carto, and it's most likely the same thing with just a different thread size or something. I've never had an 808, so don't take this post as gospel. But with a little searching you can probably find some boge 808 cartos...

Actually I just looked...you can get boge 808 cartos. I only glanced, but you can try libertyflights or vaporflow, probably plently of other places as well

well they can but you need to buy an adapter. The problem with 808 cartos is that there really inst much of selection. There really is no LR cartos to choose from. The lower the ohm ratting the more watts you will get the more vapor and TH you will get. Hard to find anything under a 2.5 ohm in an 808 connection. If you get an adapter you can use some LR 510 carto's but remember the more watts, the more amps you are pulling and pulling to much on a mini with a 220-380mAh battery is putting A LOT of strain on it and it will need to be recharged more often and reduce battery life(if not just kill the battery all together if you go to low with the ohm's). If you want to try something "new" I suggest getting a 901 atty and dripping. But only do this if you own a manual battery.

way to many variables to give you an answer to that. Depends how careful you are with not running them dry, what your PG/VG blend is, luck of the draw as they are mass produced in china ect ect

I'm not sure. I have only had a couple. I got them from a coworker. I was using one for like 3 days when I burned it out. The button got stuck on, it ruined it. The other I have is a 5 ohm, and I only use that for 6v, which I don't do all the time. But I refilled the one a bunch of times before I burnt it out. It was just feeling broken in, and I was getting great hits every time. The high volt carto that I have now is pretty good too. I have some more coming in this week. I'll let you know how long the first one I use lasts, I plan on trying to use one exclusively for at least a week.

Well, I have 3 XL 808s and 2 shorties, but totally prefer the XL's which are 3.7mah (I think). So far the XL's last me all day and I recharge it the next morning - takes maybe about an hour to charge. It's only been 2 weeks, but so far so good. Don't use my shorties but keep them with extra cartos in my purse in case something goes wrong..lol. I find them to come in really handy for traveling as a back up - but then again I always have 2 more XL's with me also.

At the moment - I want to try and use what I got..lol!! I am filling cartos on my own - have quite a supply of prefilled on hand (kinda went overboard on the be prepared thing) and will just refill them until they crash and burn. I really like the 2 pc design and so far..I can't imagine a bigger throat hit or more vapor because I'm totally satisfied there. Will never buy prefills again - way too much fun playing with juices...

just to help you out with the numbers, Assuming you have a KR808d-1. The Ohm's on your cartos are probably somewhere between 2.5 and 3.0 ohm's(the resistance of the carto's, the lower the ohm's the hotter they get) you have, depending on the length of you battery somewhere between 220 and 380mAh( the higher the number the longer the battery lasts) and your PV is 3.7 Volt, this is what ALL KR808d-1 run at(but can vary a little when fresh off the charger but will settle somewhere around there)
