KR808d-1 batteries with more "drag"?

ive used my boyfriend's smoketip battery and ive noticed that it has 2 air-flow holes rather than most kr808d-1's such as vapor4life's batteries which have 3. this creates more drag in the smoketips, which i prefer. i have to puff for a shorter time with the smoketips to get the same vapor as the 3 air hole types and its not just the cartos because i was using the same one to test this. what i'm asking is, does anyone know anything about the air-flow holes and can tell me suppliers of 808s, other than smoketip, that carry 2 hole batts? thanks in advance! -kersti

p.s. just realized that this might be another difference.. the smoketip is an auto and the vaporking is a manual.. would this make a difference?

Some folks just block off an air-hole with the tip of a toothpick to make the draw less airy. Just break off the tip in the hole and use a utility knife to cut off any extra so that it doesn't interfere with the threads.

The KR808 batteries that Prime Vapor sells have 2 holes. I have one of their kits. They are also the 280 mAh. I am really satisfied with them.

On the end of your cartomizer (the one that screws into battery) there should be a little barely raised portion on the inside of the circle. I have taken a pair of needle nose pliers and turned that until the draw was adjusted to my liking. This was on the Vapor4Life cartomizers. Hope this helps.

I just checked my batteries. I have a 2-hole battery I purchased from litecigusa.net and the other 2-hole is the mini kit from madvapes.com

I believe the bloog maxxfusion is said to have a less airy drag than the v4l

I simply hold it where the battery meets the carto, that seems to cut down on an airy draw.

yes manuals make a difference. You can press in about a second before you start dragging (so there is already vapor in there when you start dragging) and about 1-1.5 seconds before the end of your drag let up the button.

The airy draw is nice, but if it is too airy it won't start the auto batteries. The toothpick method works, but there has to be a more permanent solution. Anyone?

My auto batteries are the new style (I purchased mine from nhaler) and they only have the two holes in them. I wonder if you could simply plug up the hole with some kind of putty or hot glue, though I imagine that would be harder to handle than the toothpick.

Yeah that's what I do. My V4L auto pt is hard to use sometimes if I don't do this. Just put your fingers over the holes.
