I have had no leaking, really no issues of anykind. Wicks great. works like a charm. But if you want to wait, couldn't hurt... but they are ready now.

Sense Field, I purchased mine from e-liquid.cn, takes two weeks to get them, but they're something like 1.23 each said and done. (ordered 60)

Thanks for sharing. This looks promising. I would gather that they taste much better than the normal 808 cart.

Couple of questions:

1. I notice on VaporJunction's site that you need a syringe to fill them. Do you need a syringe to fill the CE2 carts from e-liquid.cn?
2. I noticed there are different ohm ratings available on e-liquid.cn...which would be the best one to get? Or should I mix it up and see for myself? I like big throat hit/full flavor, and I also use a 808d passthrough.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) Yes, the ones at Vapor Junction are the same as those at e-liquid.cn.
2) A general rule is to use 2.5ohms and below for 3.3volts and lower. Use 3ohms (or close) for 3.7volts and above. Even though you like a big th using too low an ohm carto will result in a burnt/off taste.

1) all the venders, vaporjunction, cloudsofvapor, yada yada ya are all originaly from e-liquid.cn (where I ordered mine from). These will all be filled with a blunt tip syringe. If you want to there is another way of filling them, you can remove the "white cap" and then use a tool that fits in the "wick notch in the ceramic cup" and then gently pull up. If you do this, be careful not to rip the silicone. I use both methods, needle at home and "poping" on the go. But really, just fill a couple up and you are good to go. I filled one for each flavor and dont have to refill for days.
2) 3.0 ohm.... . Is what you want, but now you need to reethink why you wanted 5 volts in the first place.

They are not ready yet, that's why no big vendors are carrying them, only the smaller ones to shift stock and make some cash as they are 'the hype' at the moment. The idea is there and it's getting closer and closer to getting there but it's gonna take some time for them to be as good as the Ultra / Premium 808 cartos. I've been testing them for weeks and i don't get a flavor burst like the Ultra's i'm using now, and if you take long drags they don't like it, i've been testing the 3.0ohm ones and the lower ones. Also refilling them is a pain in the ... instead of just popping off the cap and dripping into it.

Also another funny thing, the special 808 batteries i've had made give you a better draw than Royalsmokers own ones who make the cartomizers.

How long have you had them, firefly13? There has been alot of changes and at the very least you are a generation behind what I am using.

I feel from a user stand point, after using both of the above-mentioned standard 808 cartos that these (in the final generation) are close enough to be called "ready." I have not had one go out, not one fail in anyway. 10 days and counting. Now, these take some maintenance... . dry burning and such but of the 5 open (all with different flavors) all are going strong. I gave a single one to my bro-in-law and he has vaped on it all ten days, 3 mls a day. He dry burns about every two days. That means 1.23 / 10 = 12 cents a day (and getting cheaper). I can't see a day when a standard carto would cost that, sorry.

I'm with javajoe on this! I've been using two XL 808 ceramics and two 510 XL ceramics for almost two weeks. They may get better in the next generation but why wait when they're pretty good right now????? I haven't done the dry burn even (guess I should research that on why).

The little instruction card (I should emphasize little...you need a magnifier to read it) says not to refill more than 4 times but I know I'm well beyond that (it got to be too much trouble to keep track, lol). I don't think they're hard to fill at all...kind of a pain at first trying to find the teeny holes but I used a slighty larger needle to make the hole just a tad bigger...and haven't had any trouble with leaking from doing so.

The only thing I'd like to see is a better way to tell when it's full as I don't always wait until it's tasting "dry," but I doubt that will ever happen.

Well, the dry burning burns off the build up of "unvaporized" particles off the heating element. If you pull the silicone cap (the one with the holes for filling) off and look down in you will see black on the element.

Steps to do a dry burn:

1) pop of white cap and remove silicone cap (one with filling holes) [see attatched image].
2) Take the carto and run water through it.
3) Shake or spin the carto to get most the water out
4) dry threads and make sure you did get most the water out
5) Attatch carto to manual battery or usb-passthrough
6) press and hold button for ten seconds,
7) repeat, repeat, repeat,
8) take needle (while red hot) and poke the gunk on heating element (it will fall away)
9) press and hold button for ten seconds
10) Unscrew, blow though battery size to fling ash out (wick will now be white)
11) Take note of two notches and incert silicone cap back in (this is hard the first few times)

White cap in and you are finished.... .

As to telling when they are full, I use a digital gold GRAM scale. 5.0 - 5.2 grams is full (carto by itself, no condoms). Hope that helps.

to fix the flavor issue which could be caused by the e2 not wicking well or you using the lower ohm'd e2 on a higher volt,(( using a 2.5 ohm e2 on a 3.7 device without modding it will result in dry taste or loss of flavor for some depending on your device)) you can follow my PTM mod video, which cuts the wicks at the outside of the slits and then making a tailed ptb insert which you place behind the slit.

this solves all the issues until the R4 arrives to everyone.

my e2 videos are in my link below

I may as well put this out here, since I have been a loud opponent of the CE2's. And I will say that I still believe the manufacturer has questionable business ethics at best.

But I have now tried the most recent iteration of the 3.0ohm 510 XL CE2's. And here's what I can say.

They taste fantastic, they produce great vapor, and they go for ages. They are, however, not entirely consistent. I know nothing is, but with their bad wrap up to this point... I will say I want them to jump to a higher standard to make up for that.

I got 1.7ml on a fill. I have lost track of how many hours I have been vaping it. I do believe it's getting low now, but I have found that you can eek those last couple drops out by just giving it a quick twirl before you vape it. This seems to help it wick up that last little bit.

I have not had significant wicking issues. I will say that the flavor "character" of CE2's, according to my pallet, is best suited to light, fruity flavors in my opinion. CE2's have a slightly "sharp" note to them. Every atty/carto has its own personality, and that seems to be the CE2's personality. The Pina Colada I'm vaping in this one tastes fantastic.

I did not buy these - I know a vaper who has bought some and he shared a couple with me. Between the two of us, we have tried 5. So far, there is one which after an hour or two of use acquired a very nasty taste to it. The other 4 are going strong.

The 5 we are using have not been modified in any way. They were simply opened up, filled, and vaped.
