Here, there
Ok so I went an bought a Bloog Kr808D-2 and I loved it first day. I read you guys are getting hours off a battery, I never did. More like 25 minutes to 45 minutes, of heavy vaping (30 or so pulls off it). Or I can use it before I go to work, and when I come out at lunch, I am dead. NOW, I got two batteries, they both do the same. So I charge both batteries full (I think, more on this later, lol) I vape on way to work, put in pocket, and at lunch they are both just about dead. I only used the one battery. The other just dies from not being charged for 3 or so hours.

Now, I got this from an opened box set from a store by me. I got a feeling they we're using it for show. They told me they are all opened. Their is no wrapper.
But what do you guys think? I got dead batteries?

AND, the book with this thing, says when light lights up or flashes blue, it is charged. Well, it flashes fifteen times, every 30 seconds or so immediately upon charging (the e-cig tip). And the indicator light is red or green. But the red light changes to green in like 5 minutes after I put it on the charger.

I let it charge for hours of course, but it just blinks away and stays green whole time. Still does not last me even an hour. With light vaping.

Any clues what I should do? Store has denied any help (I can return it within the next two days no problem, thats it), and I guess I can talk with Bloog, but I heard they got no team for support. Phone number hangs up on you when you go to leave a message. Thats their tech support so far.

Feel a bit like smoking a cig now. lol Sorry so long.
Oh and I know this is the noob thread, but hopefully some Pro watches and can help me.

Yeah they do not charge. Its a blog, it was in their boxx and says it on it. Best I can say for that. Unless someone is printing fake Bloogs. YEY LMAO Yeah, it seems it was a display model,a nd they just picked me to screw.

Of course, waiting for CS still. lol Been about ohhhhhhhhhh, 33 minutes. ha ha ha

Left message after trying their machine 6 times. It kept hanging up before you could leave a message. And I sent an email now as well. I got a feeling it is going back to the store and I am going back to smokes. I might use the nasty NJoy unit, but thats only a day or two worth. SO even if I order today, nothing is going to get here in time, to keep me cig free. Oh well. Its a good idea, vaping, but it seems you need to have many options. I might be able to just not smoke at all, IDK. I guess I will see.

Send it back. You could pick up an ego at liberty flights for $30.00

Or get a kit from inhaler. He's in NJ and ships fast. I get juice from him the next day.

The Go-Go is super popular, big batteries, holds 3 ml of juice.

Go Go

His juice is also excellent.

**I'm not saying to send it back because it's a bad pv. Just because you seem to be having issues with it

Good luck

That's an old Bloog then? Bloog is currently selling KR808D-1 aren't they?

Red or flashing blue on the charger cable means charging. It is not done charging until it is solid blue.

Re the battery LED - flashes when out of power, flashes when put on charger, flashes when you drag too long and it hits the cut-off (or try to drag during the cut-off timeout). Some batteries have very short cutoffs - 5 seconds could trigger it. Then it might keep you from vaping for 10-90 seconds. More recent batteries of good models usually have more like a 10-20 second period before hitting cutoff. The cutoff is a safety feature, especially since auto batteries can turn on by accident from wind or vibration.

Most of use use manual batteries, for 2-piece generally KR808D-1 (LiteCigUSA.net, VaporLeaf.com)aka Vapor4Life (in colors, prefilled cartos) though some use the newer Bloog auto batteries. I use Vapor4Life manuals.

If you decide to switch models or want to try D-1 cartos, leCig sells D2 <> D1 adapters

just my two cents
an 808 offshoot is the cigeasy elegant. it is a larger battery than the 808 series and comes in a kit of two with the battery charger. elegant lasts two to four hours depending on age of battery and how many times it has been re-charged.
charging time is about hour and a half.
you can find out more at cigeasy website.

Nah I got mine days ago, and it is a 808d-2 dormouse. An yeah, you are talking about a 808d-1 I think. The charging. Mine does not have a blue light. Here: The cig end is blue, that flashes on and off non stop. I left it plugged in, fgor over 8 hours, it never stopped doing what it does when I first plug it in. The led light on the charger itself it red or green. It is red for about a minute after I put it on, and turns green. Manual for it say THATS when it is charged. I think it is different from 808d-1 chargers. I think. It must be. It feels like I am the ONLY person with this. Everyone talks about blue lights and a way for it to work, that mine does not.

Thanx sweidishfish. I am checking them out. I liked mine, and seen reviews and chose it, but these batteries seem to be useless. And this kit was 90$ plus tax. lolololol so much for so little. lol I will just be vape-less for days. WTH am I gonna do now? Darn.

PigCig from leCig is also a KR808D-1 fat battery model.

And it depends how much you vape. a 650mah+ battery should last a moderate vaper 6-8 hours or more and larger batteries are available.

Return the Bloog kit - if it really is KR808D-2 then that is an old model of theirs. They will probably make you keep the cartos. I think there is a 510 to D2 adapter at leCig which would let you vape the cartos on an Ego

....I liked mine, and seen reviews and chose it, but these batteries seem to be useless. ....

BE careful when you read reviews because the reviews that I've seen for Bloog are awesome, but afaik they are selling the kr808d-1 NOT the kr808d-2 .... big difference. If you've seen recent rave reviews for Bloog I'd be willing to bet they were for the Bloog KR808d-1.

Unlike the rest of merchant-dome, it's almost always better to buy e-cig stuff online and avoid the retail locations.....

Return what you can, as soon as you can. This is not how vaping should be and you have a defective product. I am sorry that your local shop has let you down, but they have. Order online from one of the suppliers listed on this board. With all of the information you now have you will be able to make a wise decision on your purchase.
If cigarettes are all you have, then so be it. It will all be worth it when a GOOD e-cig reaches your lips and the batteries last like they should.
Run, return all your stuff now!

Chris from Bloog emailed me back, and said he would replace it for me no problem. it seems defective. I now asked him why i got an older version, and if I would get the new version which I watched in youtube vids. I assume I will. Maybe this store had the version sitting around forever. Thats why batteries are dead.
But he is also bringing a new one for me, to the store as well. I am getting help two ways, from store owner asking him for help, and my emails. :) lol

Seems it is going to be fixed. I hope.

From my info, 808d-1 has female battery and male for the 808d-2. Correct me if I am wrong. Still trying to get my head around, their first one was called "2" and second, better one is called "1". Thats odd. SO I might have it all wrong. Little help on the site and it seems this is a stinker here too. No one really has said for sure except Don from LeCig, he was positive I had a 808d-2.

It sounds to me like you got a Bloog Fusion instead of a Bloog Maxx Fusion. The Maxx Fusion is really awesome, and so much better than the Fusion, so I've heard. I have the Maxx Fusion, and it's wonderful, but that's all I have to go by. It's my first e-cig, and I love it. (Bloog is having some issues at the moment, I'm still waiting on some things, so be patient.) Trying out the Go Go today, as swedishfish has mentioned; so far so good!
