Just to let you all know that James is my hero! The threads got messed up on my hubby's VV evercool boxmod, so he said to send it back to him to see if he could fix it. Well, I just got a pm from him, and he made me a 2 minute video showing me the repair and explaining what he did to fix it. It wasn't easy, but he performed lifesaving surgery on this little mod, and it's gonna be just fine! Hubby has been reeaaally missing it, and he'll be so happy to get it back.

I also want to mention that James got it today and fixed it today for us. Folks, James is running a real class act here. Don't even think twice about ordering one of his mods! He goes beyond good customer service, and puts TLC into each transaction. He is a unique treasure to have here on ecf!!! :D

Let the modding begin! I will be getting a few things done tonight and posting more of how things are turning out, here is a couple for your viewing pleasure to tide you over: I had a special order from Joe over at Quick Nic Juice(BTW, their juice is delish) he wanted a small 6v with a specialized button and this is what it ended up looking like 6v with back-lit button

Then we have another 4xAA bottomfeeder evercool with display, these things are so much stuffed crammed in a small space: 14500 Evercool Bottomfeeder with Display it turned out very nicely.

I'll get back with yall in a little bit!

So I work with a dremel, razors, x-acto knives, drills, saws, and just about every other dangerous power tool you can get your hands on...and what happens? I cut the hell out of my finger on what? A piece of plastic trim on my door. Go figure!

However, I am now rocking the Spider-man bandaid because that's how a real man gets down: Imageshack - picture355r.jpg

I have a few things on the bench this evening and will have some photos up for folks tonight. Other than that how's everyone's night treating them?

Hi James,

i have been looking through your nice selection of mods and all the comments about the quality of your work. Just a question, on your bottomfeeder described as "Then we have another 4xAA bottomfeeder evercool with display, these things are so much stuffed crammed in a small space: 14500 Evercool Bottomfeeder with Display it turned out very nicely" In your experience, do these leak? I have been trying for months to find a small bottomfeeder that doesn't leak. All of the needle fed systems using atomizers leak when the liquid runs back down the space between the needle and the connector and runs into the box. I have a monkeyboxx that does not leak.( It uses a plastic tube that fits over the opening in the connector and that works great. However what I am looking for is a small unit in a plastic case for my wife (she says the wooden bottomfeeders are too big) Itdoesn't have to be a vv. It just needs not to leak. If you would be interested in crafting something for me please let me know, either vv or unregulated would be fine, whatever you think. I will check back here or you can pm me. Thanks for taking the time to read this rather complicated request.

Stealth it's not complicated at all, you want a product that works? Oh man hit the road we don't need that round here.

I have the very first prototype of my 14500 Evercool Bottomfeeder which I made just to see if it was a solid product as I had gotten some feedback just like yours asking for a smaller version than the original. I have had it for 3 weeks now, use it everyday with a 2ml a day ish habit and I've never had a single leak. Here is what it looks like: 14500 bottomfeeder evercool.

I did modify the adjustment knob to be almost flush because I don't really adjust it often and can use my fingernail when I need to. I have sold a couple of these smaller units and haven't heard anything from anyone about them leaking. I sealed a small pipe into the 510 connection itself, and that pipe goes from the 3ml bottle to the inside of the atty/carto, there is no middle man and there isn't any way for juice to "come back down" into the unit. The only issue I've heard of is that some cartos don't have a great air supply and can make a stiff drag. I use atty's because I don't have any cartos for it but Hairball was kind enough to toss in that a small extension fixes the carto drag issue.
