It's not that I don't enjoy working on mods, or making nice units for folks but it was really a combination of a lot of stuff. I just kept having minor things added to the pile of stuff I was already undertaking then when school started again it was just the kill shot. The money isn't exactly luxurious but it's worth it that I get to make great stuff for people that enjoy them.

Hopefully with having a couple months off of school and really only having work and this I will at least get to take care of the folks that I know and maybe some new faces as well.

Oh no! The battery thing again...lol! Some use protected and some use IMR. All I can go by is my own experience. I've been using Trustfire protected batteries in all my KK mods with no problems so far. As far as I know the metal tube mods are the ones having battery problems. Those problems maybe unrelated to the protected/IMR question.

James,

With your variable volt boxes, should I be using the batteries that are IMR? I just saw a thread about another Ecig and they were saying that you shouldn't use protected ones with VV ecigs! That's what I've been using for months.

Thanks,
Lori

I think my VV 18650 is broken. I noticed that the dial was pushing into the mod, and, sure enough the pot had come unglued from the box on the underside. Silly me tried to superglue it back on. Well, it's glued back on, but the mod doesn't work. I did get it tp power up a couple of times, but the voltage is all messed up. Whoa is me... I sure hope James will be able to fix it for me when he has the time. If it can't be fixed, I've learned my lesson, and I won't try to fix anything on my own.

I'll see what I can do about getting it fixed up for you. Did get another knocked out last night: Green Little Man w/ Yellow button and Blue LED!

A couple more mods to do then I'll be done with everything I have owed out! Got some interesting stuff coming up pretty shortly here, we'll see how they turn out.

Was happy to get all my scores back with good results, got a 4.0 for the semester which leaves with a 3.8 overall GPA with a year to go, very happy with that. How is everyone else doing out there in the wilder parts?

Oh, James, that's awesome!! My son started vaping, and he dropped my evercool 14500 and broke the knob off. I tried supergluing that, too. And nada. I'll probably send that to you along with my 18650 and see what you can do. If you can't fix them, oh, well... I am willing to pay you for repairs. :)

Congrats on the super grades!!
