Glad you are enjoying your mod done. It's a nice lookin mod.

I want to put up one more question if I could about batteries.
After I saw tecno's post, I went back and took a good look at my batteries. They are AW protected, 14500, 750mah, 3.7 batteries. The wrapper is silver with a red stripe around it. It also says IC in red on the battery. The batteries I purchased for my provari are indeed the AW IMR batteries which are red in color.

I purchased those particular batteries when I did because it said they were "protected". They were more expensive than the AW IMR batteries. Tecno, can you post a picture of the exact battery I should buy please?? Does it HAVE to say "protected" on it?? I tried to take a pic of the batteries at RDS and could not for the life of me get an image of them.

I have never used spacers and these batteries have been working great the whole time I've had them.

Someone tell me what to buy please?? I'm wondering if RSD is going out of business. I have not been able to access their site today at all. Looks like the web site may be under some sort of construction.

The batteries you want are indeed the red, 600mAh AW IMR 14500. :) http://forcedfuel50.fatcow.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/AWimr14500.jpg

Many vendors seem to be out of stock, but it seems Clouds Of Vapor has some in stock:

AW IMR 14500 3.7v 600mAh High Drain Li Ion Battery

bully mom,
OK, sounds like you had these: AW 14500 750mah 3.7v protected Battery
And I thought you had these: AW IMR 14500
The AW IMRs are "safe chemistry" batts so they don't need protection curcuits. Protected batteries are longer because of the protection curcuit so you wouldn't have needed the battery spacers. So, you probably had one batt in each set go bad. I've lost 3 sets of protected batts over the last year because of this (damn POS Ultrafires!). They come off the charger just fine but won't power your mod for any length of time at all because one of them drops to 0 volts. If you decide to go with the red AW IMRs @COV you'll need some batt spacers too: 6mm Battery Spacers

BTW what do you think of the Provari? Did I read somewhere you got the mini?

Techno.... again you have helped me so very much. I'm on my way to order these batteries!!! One of these days I'll get this vape thing right. LOL Bless your heart.

Done... Yes, I got the mini and it got here right before my lil man had his battery problems. I love it. I'm beginning to learn a whole new world of flavors. Something really special about a 3.0 boge carto at about 4.3. Changes the way everything tastes. I still miss my lil man though. I like to have about 4 or 5 pv's sitting in front of me with all different flavors. I just can't relate to an "all day" vape. I have to mix it up a little. LOL

Thanks for the tip about the spacers. I'd be lost without you guys!! I learn something new every day. Thanks so much for all your help and support. Not gonna be the same without James being here all the time. :(

It's not that I won't be here, I just won't be able to put quite as much time into it as I wish I could. This last week was midterms and my girls birthday so I was fairly wrapped up in that and finishing up a 9 page case study. Gonna be doing a little modding tonight and tomorrow so I should have something to show you guys soon.

Oh, that's so funny! You have a way with words, James. I have always heard that it's better not to use the keyboard when one is impaired. I have posted a few doozies myself when a bit tipsy...

Well I'm happy the mod evokes such powerful emotion that even inebriated it brings you to sing it's praises. :p

Middle of nowhere
Hope James don't get upset because I did that.
The glue/epoxy was starting to turn yellow looking and I wanted something new.............LOL
Still works as good as my LT.
It also has more of the grippe feel than the slick box.
It is not smooth as that is not possible to get the look I wanted.

I did. Isuppose he's busy. it's a Shame it appealed to me more than getting a pro-fairy

You would be better off just getting a replacement sent out if James will work with you IMHO... Overseas shipping costs on either end is getting expensive. It just cost me $16.00 USD (Registered First Class) to send back a defective Genesis Maxi rebuildable atty to Croatia.. :(
