+1. I hope it's a VV top feeder :). I did a review on a variable voltage evercool 18650 from James. It is a sweet mod.

One of the new projects is a 2nd Crescendo for me but James has 2 new ones in the works. I won't count my chickens untill they are hatched but if they work out, they will be killer mods!

I liked your review fender, I love the mods that I have gotten so far from James, this man has real talent and ECF and it's members are lucky to have him!

Thanks for your words about fair pricing as a few people have said that it's outrageous for a box mod and I just can't seem to grasp how I can charge less than the parts alone cost! I guess if some people wanted the cheapest crap I can get all slapped together with hot glue I can start lowering prices.

Spacekitty, I'm happy to hear and I can whip that up for you whenever you want.

James

How in the world could someone complain? One company sells the cheapest VV box I know of for $35, true....but it does get very hot, and extended use leads to hot glue making a mess. I'm just having a hard time comprehending how $20 more for an evercool box, especially one with an led, with so many options, and done as well as you do them, could be too much? Most other VV boxes I've seen cost as much or more than yours, some twice the price. I don't mean to bash their opinion, but in my opinion you're getting excellent performance at a Hyundai price, and that's nothing to complain about.

Just a quick review and thank you, I received a 2x14500 evercool from James today, made exactly to my request (black case / black button / no light / centered electronics and connector), super fast build and delivery, price is right, feels solid in the hand, clean looking layout, wiring, soldering and glue (epoxy?), not a single complaint here.

I am a novice vaper but this is a huge step up from my ego t and echo e's. I am using ultrafire 14500 900mah batteries. So far I've tried a boge 510 2.6 ohm carto and a smoktech dual coil. No problem with either. I had an issue with a CE2 clearo but i think thats because i didnt wait long enough after initial filling, burnt and gross taste, i guess i'll toss it? First attempt with that product. I don't have a meter so i can't comment on voltages, but i have been vaping with the mod at about 1/4 of the way 'turned up' for the dual coil and halfway for the 2.6 boge.

Also, mine has a different style pot than others pictured in this thread, it has a skinny knob with a slot that adjusts easily with a thumbnail but not so loose as to accidentally get turned up or down. James tells me this pot has a better longevity rating, too and i think it looks a lot better than that silver bubbly thing.

Anyway, thanks again, i'm already considering another purchase for backup purposes! Highly recommend!

Thanks all you guys for your words, It's just great to see everyone enjoying their mods.

Sivadom, thanks for dropping in, with the CE2 the juice is fed up those small cords into a white ceramic heating element at the top, if the juice is too thick it won't wick properly but honestly I've tried them with several different juices and never got it to wick properly so don't feel alone. Yeah the potentiometer that went into yours is the new version that I will be using for most/all my newer mods. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me or ask in here, these guys are all great guys and knowledgeable.

Wow, nice work James. Me likey. Does the display come on everytime you fire or just when you check the voltage?

At long last it has been completed after a while of figuring out how to make it all fit in there. I bring you the 14500 with Display in a 4xAA case

It turned out quite well and with the new potentiometers it looks very clean together.

Actually I added a small on/off switch directly next to the main kill switch so that you can "have it your way" 14500 with Display LED and Display switch.

This was for the owner of that mod but it helps give you an idea of what I'm talking about. Turned out really cool and for a first time using those little color changing LEDs I actually think they're pretty nifty. Don't think I would rock a rave mod at all times but it is a cool little light show.

Alright ladies and gents, after a few people have begged me to make an evercool bottomfeeder in a 14500 and making a couple, I have gotten some feedback on the size issue with the one I was using. This is great because that's what I want, if it's not 100% useful to you, I don't want to offer it.

So with much deliberation I have completely changed the design entirely of my 14500 evercool bottomfeeder. I am currently in the midst of creating the prototype and it will be shown in a few hours.

Stay tuned!

Alright, I finally finished up the first one, wanted to try a couple new things on it that took a while. So here it is: 14500 Bottom Feeder New and Improved

There is a few things about it that I really think have gotten better, first it's tiny compared to the original, that comes at the price of a smaller bottle, but if you honestly use more than 3 ml's you'll just have to carry a second bottle. :p

I fiddled with an LED idea until I finally came up with a cool way of doing it, it shoots like into the bottle and it's not only visible from the fingerhole I tapped out a small hole in the front that also lights up with it, so it's kind of like having a normal LED in the front plate. I don't like the needle on a bottle idea so I used a small piece of brass tubing that's soldered into the connection and you can just stick any 3 ml bottle on it. There is a small tube in the bottle but that's something that can be put on any 3ml bottle. So you don't have to have the super specific bottle.

Tell me what ya think of the upgrade!
