There are a few threads here about pre-made wooden boxes and some of them looked easily modable and not very expensive

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/206169-place-buy-wooden-box.html

You could also try finding tin boxes that have interesting graphics. We've all seen the Altoids mods, thewre must be someplace that has like old cigarette packs on tin or other interesting graphics.

Like this allthough it doesn't have graphics but they're cheap Tin Rectangular 3.9" by 2.45" hinged.

Yeah those are pretty neat, I don't exactly want to step on toes of those who work very hard to create their own wooden boxes. Some of these guys on here that make the box mods are just so nice it's hard to try to compete. We'll see about that down the road a piece.

Currently I just want to get a few more things taken care of and I could have something pretty nifty in the works, stay tuned!

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages(over 18) I bring you what it truly looks like to jam a ton of .... in a half ton bag. I was commissioned to make a 14500 bottomfeeder, with an evercool system,...and display...in a 4xAA case. Yes, it was a true pain in the .... and took me two tries as I nuked the first one.

Without further a due: 14500 Evercool Bottomfeeder w/ Display!!!

This was actually one of the more painful mods for me to make as I did get to shed a little blood for this one. (Wild Exacto knife.)

You do keep topping yourself. Now I want a 14500 Evercool w/ Display in a 3xAA Case.

LED not necessary if it doesn't fit. Top firing fine, just leave enough room for a tank like the liquinator or j-tank. Magnet on bottom, the only thing I didn't see on the bottomfeeder. 510 connector like usual.

And lastly, display turned around for left hander.

All in a black case.

No hurry, I'm still enjoying the hell out of my 4 box.

Thanks Again

David

A little change in pace, I couldn't take it anymore and to those of you who've purchased mods you made it happen so you have my deep appreciation. I started this in my spare time as something to do for myself and as a hobby/relaxation thing and it's still very much something I enjoy but as I got more into and got more intense mods that pushed me I had to get better stuff or a few extra tools which didn't bother me but lately I've found myself working with very little space and wondered why so I stood up and looked at the "workbench" I was using: Old workbench.

Seem cluttered?

So after this weeks work and getting bills paid I just couldn't take it anymore so I got some lumber and a counter-top that was "scratched" so it was cheap and a strip light and spent a few hours getting my hands covered in sawdust. By the way I know why these guys do wood mods, I love working with wood, it's got such a soft and wonderful feel and smell to it but I don't have any woodworking tools for mods(lathe, bandsaw, router). Back to the story, I spent some time and got into it because I was sick of making mods with 6 inches of room to work in...ended up with this: New WORKBENCH! A REAL WORKBENCH!

Very pleased and looking forward to getting it set up and doing a bit of modding this evening.
