Sure is quiet in here. I will be posting a video of the red 2x2 soon as it will be for sale to the general public. Buyer decided to back out at the last minute and needed a refund after creation.(I'm not mad at him, he had a very real reason) So if anyone wants to purchase a fairly highly modified 2x2 I will be putting a video up with the details soon.

I got your boxed Jewels. I'll PM you some info later about them as well as some more on the other project.

Being a clumsy oaf I trashed the 510 connection on Little Man #1. Picture pushing on the edge of something heavy using your hands and chest, with the PV in your shirt pocket. I got away with it the first time, months later I did it again. Sorry for treating your work so poorly James. Anyway I soldered a sealed 510 adapter on and we're back in business baby!

BTW. That's a 2 ohm single coil XL carto in the tank. With this combo I can use my straight 5 volt equipment again too! Did I mention I was a heavy smoker?

So very sorry to hear about the trauma to your little man. It's like having one of your kids getting injured!!! So glad you are back in business buddy.

My little man continues to work like a charm. I have knocked a little chunk out of his back door, but he keeps right on tickin!! It will forever be a mystery to me as to what happened that caused him to quit working a few weeks ago. Just as quickly as the problem started it resolved itself. I'm so happy about that!!!

James.... good job on those grades. I'm really proud of ya kiddo. You will have that degree before you know it.

I really think that red 2X2 is lovely. Such meticulous work, as always. Don't forget to put up a video on that!! Is it an evercool?? I don't know the first thing about bottom feeders, but I am interested in learning about them.

Congrats Jewels on getting your son to be a vaper!!! I wish I could get my sister and daughter on board with it but I'm not giving up yet!!!

Hope everyone has a great summer!! Stay cool.

What's up guys. I haven't posted in a bit, but I'd thought I'd do a little follow up on a dual 18650 VV double barrel monster I got back in February. Here's a link to the pics James took: ImageShack(TM) slideshow

This thing still works like a charm. I use it everyday. It never leaves the house since that is how most of my other mods have gotten damaged over the years; mostly from just being in my pocket. This beast was truly well made. I get a consistent hit every time and am blown away by how well it works. I decided to get the double barrels, but I pretty much only use one of them.

My only complaint is that I have to manually switch the mod off when I'm done using it. The way it was wired causes a constant slow draw of power if the main switch is left on that drains my batteries. A couple times a week I come home from work to find dead batteries. I've always got a couple charged and waiting, so I just swap them out. I initially thought this would lessen the life of my batteries, but they are still going strong after three plus months. I did decide to stick with Trusfire Li-Ion batteries for this reason. I know that IMR batteries don't do well with over-discharging and I believe the protected Li-ions are better suited for this; I can say the Trustfires are doing extraordinarily well.

I really can't stress how well the mod itself is made. From the components used to how everything was put together, I am extremely happy. I've had a ton of mods over the years, none of them have been perfect, but this comes the closest.

Thank you James for a mighty fine mod. Cheers.

Ladies and gents boys and girls. I'm sorry I've been slightly absent the last couple days, been working long shifts to get some money coming in.

Drum, I'm very happy that you're still enjoying the mod and do appreciate the kind words. I know that it can be kind of a pain with that small draw when the mod is on and if I take the caps out it goes away but it just doesn't hit the way I like it to when I do so I've come to accept it's just something I have to warn folks about. I've been looking at ways to fix it but haven't come up with a simple solution yet.

Jewels, you've really put me to the test this time haven't ya? I have to hand sand and saw down all the little bits and pieces I'm using so it's taking a really long time and I apologize but I think it's looking really nice so far, wish I had pictures but when I look at all the work I've done and how little it's actually accomplished I feel sad ha ha ha.

I'll get a video up of the red 2x2 tomorrow and more details but I'm getting ready to pass out right now, tired video might not be worthwhile.

As always Bully Mom, you're kind words are appreciated and I'm happy to hear the mod finally stopped acting up on ya, so strange that it had to take a nap for a bit apparently.

A gorilla found the webcam!

The 2x2 is a little more expensive than normal because of all the specialty work involved in it. The switch, dripwell, polished momentary switch and extra labor added $30 to the price. His price was $140, however if someone wants it, I'm willing to cut the labor off of the extras and just do it for $125 and I'll include first class shipping to CONUS, outside shipping we will discuss.

How's everyone been doing this evening? Sorry that I'm a bit raggedy looking, didn't get a chance to get all cleaned up for the video so you're stuck with 5 o'clock shadow.

Thank you all for your interest and inquiries, the "Detonator" someone called it has been purchased and shipped to a wonderful new home. I appreciate everyone for the comments and things.

How's everyone out there doing today? My sleep is all funky from late nights and early mornings being mixed so half the time I'm a zombie when I should be awake and wide awake when I need to go to bed!
